I just got my nails done tonight with my daughter and the lady who took my card and swiped it was VERY RUDE! No thank you, in fact she just grabbed my card and yanked my receipt on her pin stand. I was close to grabbing my card off her and walking out. Won't be coming back here again that's for sure. The team at professionail have very much disappointed me. I usually have very good thick nails that never break. Every time I have been to get a shellac manicure I've watched the nail technician leave the acetone in foil in my nails for 10-15 mins. however when I came in the girl who did mine left mine on for 5 mins, eager to get my nails done fast. she then obviously couldn't scrape off the shellac as she hadn't left it long enough so used the filing machine to remove all the shellac, while she was doing so I noticed she was filing my nails down more than necessary. I told her nicely could you pls not file my nails down so thin because obviously this will cause then to break. however 48 hours after leaving the store 5 of my nails had broken, when usually I have 0 nails break in 2-3 weeks. I went in and spoke to several staff members, they advise me the only thing they will do is cut the rest of my nails so they're all the same length. I asked if I could pay the difference and get acrylics on the short nails and they said if I wanted acrylics I would have to pay full price. completely ignoring the fact I have only a few days ago paid for a full service which has lead to me having 5 nails short. I grow my nails long because when theyre short I get bad ingrowing nails. now im left with short painful nails and the WORST customer service EVER. I have for many years gone to several nail salons and this by FAR has been the MOST disappointing. After they fix my nails I will NEVER return to this proffesionail or ANY other professional. Went in yesterday (March 3, 2018) to get an eye brow arch like any other time. I walked and spoke to Nancy and the customer she whom nails she was working on. I told Nancy I just wanted my eye brows arched and she said, "okay, we can do it now." She told the woman who's nails she was doing to pick her polish color. I noticed she didn't wash her hands in the front area but I figured she would in the wax area. Well no she didn't. So I said, "Could you please wash your hands ...before you touch my face? I don't want any breakouts." She reluctantly washed her hands and I noticed that she was a bit aggressive when taking the wax strips off my face. I could tell she was upset about me asking her to wash her hands but I really didn't think of it as a big deal. She was done waxing my eye brows in less than 1 minute. No Joke! I get up to walk back up to the front with her. The other customer whose nails she had previously been working on, said "wow that was fast." I said, "I know right?? Eventhough it felt like the strips were being ripped from my face." The other customer and I laughed. At this time, Nancy tells me it's $8 dollars (which I knew) as I'm beginning to take payment from my wallet for her. She goes on to say, "Well I don't know what disease you have." I stopped in mist of counting the cash for her and say, "wait, what?" She said, "it's $8" I said, "Yes I know that but I want you to finish your comment you were making." She goes on to say, "Disease you have that you want me to wash my hands." Myself and the other customer just look at one another. I said, "So because I asked you if you could please wash your hands before touching my face, that makes me have a disease?" I told her, "That would be no different than me using the bathroom and to go into a kitchen and make food for you. It's disgusting either way it goes and I wouldn't think I would or should have to ask a business owner that provides services to the public anything that should just be a norm anyways." She goes on to say, "well you just shouldn't come back." My self and the other customer just looked at one another and the customer was finally able to get, "Oh WOW" out of her mouth. I said, "Are you serious in this moment?" She said, "Yes" I said, "Oh I promise, you will never get another dollar of my money EVER again. All because I asked you an adult woman/business (lack there of a better word) owner to wash her hands. I told the other customer, "I'm so glad you were here to witness her utter disrespect and treatment towards me." Poor customer service from a member of staff. I needed a quick fix as one of my nails was breaking so I asked for some glue to be put on my nail. Lady at the counter told me what I wanted wouldn’t fix it for long and didn’t seem too interested in helping, but I asked to do it anyway. She was really sulky about doing it, she was rude and made it clear she didn’t want to help me. She walked off after she did a piss poor attempt of fixing it leaving me standing there bilwildered at her attitude. I went last week to get a full set of acrylics and the lady was very nice and did a good job. However, two fell off and I went to get them fixed today and got another lady who did a TERRIBLE job. She ripped the skin off my thumb and it bleeds and stings a lot and did it twice as short as my other ones! And my other nail was a totally different shape! She was also very rude. I have been here several times for a pedicure and it's been fantastic. Hoping for the same service, I took my sister there for a manicure. Worst mistake made. The lady (Jessica) who did my sister's nails was rude, abrupt and even admonishing to my sister. She filed the nails all different shapes and sizes and then wondered why my sister was complaining about them. She then proceeded to make fun of my sister in her own language to her colleagues IN FRONT OF US. The nail paint she put on was uneven and not smooth. She didn't even care to check if they were dry. When I asked her name, she hesitated to tell me, probably knowing that she didn't do the right thing. I do like a manicure to make me feel a bit girly and beautiful nails do seem to provide a bit of a boost. Professionail is a mall nail salon that you can find in most places that give you a quick nail job done for about 30 odd dollars, depending on whether you want a standard pain job, a little more fancy 'french tip' with the classic white rims, or if you want to go further and get false nails attached you can for a few more dollars. Additionally the girls here are fantastic at nail art, while getting my nails done, a few of the staff were sat next to me have flowers painted on their nails- super tricky and fiddly getting whole artworks done on such a small canvas of a nail, so i was very impressed. The girls do a nice job on your nails, and when you leave they look really good. However, I am sad to say that mine have never gone a day or two without being chipped, so the quality doesn't really match the price. Having said that, I would still go get them done for a wedding or special occasion, just do not expect week long beautiful nails if you choose only a basic paint job. Read Less

I have gone here a couple of times and usually it was a totally fine visit not really worth mentioning - go in get your nails done fine and dandy.However I did once (and the last time I ever went there) come in to get acrylic nails and that was totally fine, except I came back the week after to get them removed because I just felt they weren't really my cup of tea. And the pain they put me through!It was terrible. First they were confused that I wanted them removed which I thought was a normal thing to ask for. So the girl didn't really understand me and so I had to mimic taking the nails of for her. Finally she sat me down and then proceeded to literally pull the things of by tearing the nails! Not even kidding. It was terrible. I was in so much pain that I yelled out. And eventually the nail salons manager came over to do it himself - properly by soaking them in something and then carefully taking them off.But after that experience I was haunted. Professionail is a very rush you in, rush you out nail salon. It's definitely gives you the production line feel where everything they do is standard and the same. In saying that, they know how to paint nails. They're aren't exactly gentle when filing your nails or rubbing lotion into your hands, but they will shape those nails perfectly and your polish will look perfect and last a long time. I'm not a fan of acrylic nails but I know plenty of people who have had their falsies done here, and they always look nice and even. Read Less
