I have visited Hong on several occasions. She is always polite and friendly. I am only able to comment on the keratin hair straightening treatment which I can say is by far the best I have had done and the longest lasting treatment of this kind anywhere in Auckland. Her home " salon " is clean and well presented and in no way fits the description given in some of the previous comments - I can only imagine that these people have some issue with Hong to criticize her or her business in this way. Totally unfair when I consider the experience I have always had with her.

Some reviews saying this business is a scam but it’s absolutely not, I don’t have any idea where they get that.

I've been visiting Hong at Salon Beautique for my hair cuts ever since I decided to lose my pony tail. Always very friendly and does a fantastic job. Wife gets her nails and hair done as well and always comes out looking fantastic at a very reasonable price. Strongly suspect the negative reviews posted here are done so maliciously. The salon is a clean, professional environment and the staff obviously know their stuff. Highly recommend visiting Salon Beautique, either yourself or as a gift for a loved one!

I just had a haircut at this salon yesterday. My experience was absolutely satisfactory. I like my new hair style now which was complimented many times by my workmates. I feel more confident with a nice stylish hair cut.

The salon owner has 19 years of experience and each time I've been very pleased with my haircut. Some of these nasty comments are coming from the mate of one of the person who left without paying. So who's the scammer here? The salon is based at a residential area, if you have an issue with this, don't patronize it. Do some research first.

Very promp and professional, my family have been coming here for the last year and are always happy with the quality and good honest price for the work done. The location is easily accessible and parking is not a problem. The facility is very bright, modern and fresh. We will happily continue our patronage at Salon Beautique.

One word: professional. Got my hair done for the first time by Hong who did a great job to fix my messed up hair from the previous hairdresser. She offered great advice for haircare without being pushy to sell. A beautifully set up, legit home business with licences to operate displayed, which overthrew the previous review that was nothing but vile and untrue about the business. What was she on about? If anything, I prefer this quiet area without walk-in customers interrupting my appointment every 5 minutes as per past experiences in a business district.

The most DODGIEST place to visit!! Shocked to see such people are still operating businesses.. And this is a room in a house..not a business location.. you will find the kid playing around and the salon owner rushing to kitchen while you wait for her to finish cooking. I request everyone to search google maps before visiting such homes claiming as Salons. And her services are PATHETIC!!

I have visited Hong on several occasions. She is always polite and friendly. I am only able to comment on the keratin hair straightening treatment which I can say is by far the best I have had done and the longest lasting treatment of this kind anywhere in Auckland. I've been visiting Hong at Salon Beautique for my hair cuts ever since I decided to lose my pony tail. Always very friendly and does a fantastic job. Wife gets her nails and hair done as well and always comes out looking fantastic at a very reasonable price. Strongly suspect the negative reviews posted here are done so maliciously. The salon is a clean, professional environment and the staff obviously know their stuff. Highly recommend visiting Salon Beautique, either yourself or as a gift for a loved one!

She offered great advice for haircare without being pushy to sell.
