First few times, I received good customer service probably becuse I got gel nails which is fairly expensive. But recently I have been only getting manicure and their attitude is not up to the standard considering their price is much more expensive than the ones you can get from a mall. Especially the owner doesn't treat you very well unless you pay a lot. Read Less

Very poor service, i used to go here in the past and liked it. The service has deteriorated … to the extent that they try to blame the customer for the nail technician taking ages to do a french pedicure I had to walk out without the top coat since it took the lady forever and the quality of the french wasnt great Not a happy customer and they are not cheap, not going there again and dont recommend it to others :-( Read Less

Lovely experience. Sally did my nails and actually educated me on not picking off my shellac nail polish as it not only ruins nails but also shortens the time your next shellac manicure lasts. Overall great service! My nails look great and the green tea warmed me up! Read Less

My nails look perfect! Rachael took great care in painting them and covered the entire nail - not leaving a space between the color and the cuticle so you have to back in a week, like places in the US do. When I travel back to Auckland I will definitely return to Sassi. Read Less

Great UV French gel polish (done by Jamie) on Friday 27 Jan. Always friendly and polite and a much nicer atmosphere (and a higher quality job) done than in your average place like Professionails. Yes, you will pay a little more, but with a better quality job done you'll find your UV polish will last longer. Would recommend booking ahead rather than trying to do a walk in, as it gets pretty busy. Overall, would recommend. Read Less

I went to Sassi for the first time last night, I just got the standard mani with gel/shellac polish. It's the best manicure I've ever had in terms of the finish, she did it with absolute precision. They had a huge selection of colours as well. I'm really happy with the finish and would highly recommend Sassi to anyone who wants a great manicure. The only down side is the price. It was $65 total, that's about $30 more than I've paid for the exact same service elsewhere! It did include a hand massage at the end which was nice and left my hands feeling really soft but really not worth $30 unfortunately. I had also looked at the prices online before going and the price when I got there was not the same which was disappointing as I may have gone elsewhere but I didn't have time so went ahead anyway. The Sassi girls were friendly, and unlike other places I've been, they went all chatting in another language the entire time which can sometimes make you feel uncomfortable. Small shop, terrible customer service. As a tourist, I came in without an appointment.They were busy (it was Saturday) and asked if I could come back at 5. I said sure, and they wanted me to put down a "refundable" deposit and I asked what if I cancelled, how would I get that back? They said I'd have to walk back there to get the money back. Wtf?! If I called to cancel I have to physically go back to get my money? I obviously cancelled cuz I can't make it! Stupid ass  process, and even stupider people working here. Read Less

I really love this place. My nails always look lovely, I get an amazing hand massage and it's not even that expensive. The staff are very proud of their work which you can see if you accidentally bump a nail before it dries and it leaves a tiny mark they will re-do the whole nail for you (oops...) so it stays perfect. If you compare it to a place like ProfessionAIL it's a world apart. It is very small however and is often full so best to book in advance. Read Less

If you're looking for thorough attentive and smiling service then go here - they do a wonderful job and are friendlier than many nail salons in Auckland. Make sure you call ahead because Sassi is usually booked up, and with good reason - I've never had a better manicure. They cover a full range of manicure and pedicure options, and every treatment that I've had has been done to perfection. Even if you just go in for a basic file and polish, they do it so carefully and with absolute precision, and the manicure comes with a killer hand massage. Equal to the results you get is the service. The women working at Sassi are so friendly and polite, and obviously make a real effort to keep the salon looking clean and fresh, and stocked with plenty of new, quality mags (always vital!). The products are OPI-based and they stock a full range of OPI products including Gelcolours and the ever-delicious Avojuice. They also do a mean Shellac and offer all those extensiony fake things too. The prices are at the higher end, but it's superb value for money.
