My daughter and I have been getting our nails done from the man at LA Nails West City for a while now but after my experience yesterday we will never go back. I got SMS a week ago but unfortunately 2 of them have chipped already. I called into the salon to get them fixed and girl at the front desk wanted to charge me to get them repaired. I said no they should last 2-3 weeks. She referred me to a so called policy and said after 3 days the customer has to pay and if I didn't like it go some where else. Great way to keep customers! The girl seriously needs training in customer skills. There is a lot of nail salons to choose from in West Auckland so no great loss to me and my daughter but I am sure they could do with retaining customers. Read Less

Absolutely disgusting. No regards for hygiene or covid guidelines. Was not required to show/scan my vaccine pass and they seat people next to eachother (no social distancing). Such a rushed job and became rude once asked to do properly because they were so thin (if you qualified you would know about the apex) when confronted I got talked over and then kicked out before shaping or filing. after a while of using the nail business giant in nz first time i tried these guys,just cause i had some time to kill and was due to get my nails done. i have to say even with all the bad responses i received excellent service by the team. big thanks to Tina who did my nails. was lovely to talk to wasnt rushing like other places. there was a difficult customer in front of me which the staff handle with kindness and patience.i will defenetly go again. highly recommend them thanks.MD Read Less
