I used to go to this spa almost weekly if not biweekly for services. When it first opened it was quiet. Not a lot of customers. Being the influencer I am I told everyone about this place and before I knew it, it was packed all the time. Probably has a lot to do with its great location and cute decor. The management was with a male and female, from what I was told from a few employees and the former owner that it is now only under ownership of the woman who originally had a pa...rtner (I forget her name but she's usually at the front). Her former partner would remember my coffee order let alone my name. I found it to be quit disrespectful that I would come every week and she would ask me "what's your name?", every single time. I went to the same girl who did my nails every single time and she did a wonderful job. But then I would call and make appointments to see her, always requesting her by first name and I would get there and the owner would put me in someone else's chair and tell me my girl was busy. This happened so many times I stopped going. I knew my techs name so I knew there was no mistake. It is to my understanding management of this establishment is stealing the employees tips. I used to come here a pay top dollar to have stand up service... this place treats you no better than any other chop shop would and doesn't value their customers. Their prices do not reflect their service any longer. I am writing this now because I was just informed by a friend that while she was visiting with a friend getting pedicures they were have a very serious conversation. The tech was laughing and snickering about this serious conversation about a life threatening subject. I moved on from receiving service and didn't write a single bad review when I was not happy with my services. But now I'm hearing they are disrespecting more clients and I think their 4.8 star rating on Facebook is not justified because I've received better service at a fast food restaurant. Definitely over priced, however decor is nice, facility is clean. My 100$ pedicure did last from April till June. Was overall really satisfied with quality of service, everything other than price as shellac was an extra 20$ over my pedicure cost which covers store buying a full new bottle from the supplier everytime they do shellac on a client. BEST nail salon in the city! I have been coming here for months and tried the powder dip for my nails on my first couple visits and I'm hooked! It's the best alternative to getting a fake nails or shellac! My own nails have grown so long and strong! I come and see Jessica every 2 weeks for my dip powder fill! The customer service at this Uptown is the best of any nail salon I have ever been to. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and very professional.
