OMG.. what an awesome afternoon. I took my troop to the Glam Dolls Salon & Spa. They had a Girl Scout Glam day in honor of The Girl Scout Birthday which is tomorrow. I’m not sure who had more fun them or me. The place was awesome and had everything a girl would want. But it was more than spa stuff. It was a mentoring event. I am so impressed with the staff here. They are very mature and just as sweet as they can be. My older daughter had her party here a few years ago. And it was one of the most memorable parties she has ever had. Recently we saw their new location, And my younger daughter has been begging me to go ever since. So when I decided to take her, I messaged the spa to see if they would be able to do my older daughters hair and I sent the pictures she wanted. To my surprise they said yes without hesitation and asked me what time would I like to come in. So I was able to get my youngest daughter her VIP spa treatment while my oldest daughter got her hair braided. They both were so excited, and I was happy to see them smile. Thank you Glam Dolls. Just had my daughter’s 8th Birthday party here. It was okay, but felt a little rushed in between services. My daughter who was the birthday girl messed up her nails. I informed them and they didn’t offer to fix it. It’s a nice place and the girls enjoyed themselves, but not sure if I would do it again. I loved this place and was always satisfied. But they lost a loyal customer. I used to bring my two daughters to get their hair braided and I always spent a pretty penny until this last time where I wasn't satisfied with how my youngest daughters hair was braided. It looked like my little sister could've done a better job and the style lasted no more than a week. I called to complain and the owner of the shop offered me 15% off on my NEXT visit. I didn't even want a refund but why couldn't my daughter get a redo???? I paid 60+take out and y'all offered me 15% off NEXT VISIT like I'm really going to return. lol I really loved y'all but that's it for me. Read Less

I had my daughter's 7th birthday party at Glam Doll Salon & Spa last weekend. I'll admit I was kind of skeptical about having it at a kiddie spa, just based on prior experience at other kiddie spas. But when I say the 8 young ladies that I had enjoyed themselves, that's definitely an understatement. From the time we walked in until the time we walked out, the girls were entertained. I purchased the unicorn themed Paint the Town Glam package. The staff at the Glam Doll Salon & Spa made my 7 year olds sip and paint so elegant but still kid friendly. We had my daughter's birthday party at this spa at its previous location about a year ago. We invited about 10 of her girlfriends and all had a great time. I was very impressed with the attention each girl received from the staff. I was also impressed with the extra attention my daughter received as bday girl without taking away from the other girls...a great balance! My wife, daughter and I popped in on the spa at their new location, without any advance notice last Satu...rday afternoon to just get my daughter's nails polished. Although there was someone else's bday party going on, the owner Karen Thomas, appointed a young lady on her staff to service my daughter's nails. She very professionally (and lady like making my daughter feel grown) helped my daughter put on a nice light blue robe over top her clothes (sets a special tone for young customers) and proceeded to show her to a nail polish station. Because of the adult-like comfort and professional layout of the spa, my daughter received 110% attention without interrupting the other customer's birthday party at all, as she felt like a "mature 6 year old" at the nail station...:). The ambience is very fitting for young girls that want to experience what they think their older female relatives/friends and mom may experience but with a child-like feel. Karen has motivating, feel-good quotes strategically placed and painted throughout the walls of the spa. She also has an old school chalkboard for young customers to write their name...providing a personal touch-connection with the spa. For my daughter's bday party, she loved the fashion walkway but i highly encourage visiting Glam Dolls Salon and Spa to see what that's all about! And lastly, the prices are such that, once you experience the Nordstrom/ Chik Fil A-like service you will want to provide a tip just to say thank-you! Had my grands 8th Bday party there, w/ 7 of her friends It was awesome! From the moment we entered up to the minute we left the glam squad celebrated her like the Princess she is. They were attentive and made the birthday girl & her friends feel very special. The colorful atmosphere, layout and decorations were picture perfect. All of the activities, (making lip gloss, manicure, make up, fashion show, photos, Wee dance contest, lunch) were well timed and coordinated. They had a ball!
