I LOVE this salon, It took me quite a while after moving to the city to find a salon I would actually go back to.  I've been a client at the Lemon Tree for about 3 years now.  Lindsay always does a fantastic job with my cut and color.  She knows what I want more than I do and she's not afraid to tell me if my idea is a bad idea which I love because I wont ever leave disappointed.  It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for that's for sure. The Label M line they use here is the best product of all time and my hair looks so shiny and refreshed, even when using it at home, and they don't test on animals (even bigger thumbs up) The salon itself is so warm and inviting and the staff are all super wonderful.  Recommend x1000 Read Less

I had a tough time finding a hair dresser that could cut and colour... I’m a tough one.. a dark auburn.. people have either ended up doing my colour on the purple end or copper end of the spectrum... and have had major issues not being able to get a good cut... well... I was blessed with the notification of Brett having a cancellation for a cut and colour yesterday... I went to the appointment... he is amazing... he listened to my concerns.. we made a game plan for future vis...its and he nailed my colour FIRST time... my stress level is now zero... I am so grateful for you Brett... amazing stylist an amazing person.. thank you I truly recommend him!!!!!! Lemon Tree is blessed with talent.. and to address an issue you hear frequently... oh their expensive!!!! I've been going to Paige for over two years now and I absolutely love her work! Every time I'm booked in I don't think it's possible to love my hair more than the last time, but every time she amazes me by giving me everything I want and more. From going blonde, to dark and cutting off 10 inches she's made me look amazing each time. Paige is extremely talented and very knowledgable about the products she uses. 10/10 would recommend! I have been going to Kelsie for about a year and a half. She’s very creative, loves colour, is fun to talk to and always gives me great cuts. And she’s always on time! At my cut/color yesterday she asked if I wanted to know what she had in mind or if I wanted it to be a surprise so I picked the surprise! My regular stylist was not available for the time I needed to go so I was referred to Brett! And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! From my very vague explanation for what I wanted to do with my hair accompanied with a picture, Brett magically transformed my hair! I left the salon with my hair feeling refreshed and light! Not only does he make my hair feel wonderful but he was so easy and great to talk to! I wanted my salon experience to take me away from everyday life and just have some me time! Brett is the ONLY one I trust with my hair! He is absolutely amaze-balls with blondes. When I went full root to tip blonde he took me there! He’s matched me with extensions to add some length that are super easy to apply. I booked an appointment in July with a senior stylist, being clear in my email that I wanted to avoid dye if possible especially on my virgin hair and match my ends to my roots. I walked out with a balayage and $170 poorer (before tip!). The colour faded within only days, leaving me with even brighter orange hair than I had started with. I emailed back and asked for an appointment to fix it with an apprentice as I couldn't afford another $200 appointment. The receptionist sa...id she talked to the manager and that they would work out a price so I wasn't overcharged for the fix. I had to email twice to get a response. I came in for the appointment and the apprentice gave me two options, a repeat balayage or a roots to tip dye. I decided to go with the solid colour as the first balayage was obviously a complete failure. I walked out with mediocre brown hair and $140 less (before tip again) in my purse although their website clearly states $115 for an apprentice colour. She also said they can't guarantee a colour unless I use their salon shampoo so I bought that as well. Literally 3 days later, the colour has completely washed out and my hair is brassy orange. I called three times to the salon and was always told the manager was busy or not there so I sent an email complete with pictures I had taken before and after every colour as proof. Finally she called me back and said I could come in and she would personally do my hair along with a mineral remover treatment. She had theories about how my hair was porous from repeat dyeing (doesn't make sense as even the colour on my virgin roots washed out), or that it was the hard water that was causing the dye fading (I used salon clarifying and chelating shampoos prior to both colours). I came in for the third appointment and she did another roots to tip dye. The colour looked fine, and she finally didn't charge me, but she also didn't do any treatments she had promised. Lo and behold, 3 washes later again, still using her special shampoo, the colour was back to orange. Fed up with it and wanting to prove all of Heather's theories wrong, I went to Shoppers and bought a box dye and used it on my hair. The colour is holding like a rock to my hair 3 months later. Clearly the products they are using in their salon are useless. The only think I'm left with after 3 colours in 6 weeks was broken and dry orange hair. Horrible experience. One of those haircuts that make you actually cry once you get home. DO NOT LET THEM THIN YOUR HAIR. Not only did they remove roughly half the thickness of my hair but they completely screwed up a very simple highlight job. They offered to fix it for free with one of their senior stylists...which I very specifically asked for in the first place!!! While the second stylist did manage to improve the colour a bit, I still had to go to a completely different salon to get what I wanted. It just turned into an incredibly expensive and time consuming process that SHOULD have been simple and straight forward. I would absolutely NOT recommend this salon.Read Less

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago... WOW!  For the sake of honesty my hair was a fried disheveled mess.  Box bleached and cut last by a 3/4 intoxicated friend. By luck of the draw my new stylist was Brett and he did a fantastic job making my hair shine in the GOOD way, instead of the faded, trailer-park way I had been rocking for months. The reason my hair looked so bad in the first place is that I'm too cheap to pay for haircuts, but for the amount of genuine effort this gent put into my hair, the price was super reasonable.
