Yesterday i got my eyebrows waxed. They lifted my skin and burned my skin. I have been trying to help it so it wonβt scab but nothing will work. I am so horrified with how they could do this. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed before and never ever had this done to me. They say all of their services arenβt harm free and safe but it is NOT true at all. I had one of the best experiences with customer service with Colleen at this Sunsera location. She helped us figure out a mix-up with Groupons that we had purchased in order for my Mom, sister and myself to be able to get mani/pedis together. Unfortunately, an unforeseen event occurred and my Mom and I needed to leave the city early. We were fully expecting to pay for the services even though we were unable to attend and were only able to give a few hours notice. Colleen was extremely accommodating and allowed us to keep our Groupon for another time. While we did not end up getting our mani/pedi I look forward to booking at this Sunsera location in the future. Colleen truly went above and beyond for us! Read Less

I went in yesterday and asked for her...to which the catty bitches in the front replied "she's dead to us. She shouldn't have left" what the f*ck is that!? Super unprofessional and as a result, I will never set foot in any Sunsera location. Ever. Again. She was the only good, experienced stylist, colorist and hairdresser in that entire chain. Oh and front staff-- you should try not to behave like that, it makes you look like idiots. If you had politely said that she moved on, instead of being unprofessional, you would have likely got a chance to have another hairdresser demonstrate that the chain is worthy of my business. Got a full set of gel nails and the aesthetician made me feel extremely uncomfortable, like I was her problem the entire appointment. My nails looked terrible and I didn't want to tell her I didn't like them because she seemed really unhappy to have to talk to me. I called in 20 mins after leaving and said I'd like someone to fix my nails or I'd like them taken off, that I was sorry but I paid $90 for them and I couldn't just let it go. They proceeded to put her on the phone with me (the woman I complained about) and had her ask me "WHATS UP?". So insanely uncomfortable and she was extremely rude. Terrible experience overall. They set me up 3 days later to get my nails fixed and the other lady did a decent job fixing them but didn't completely redo them so I mean they are what they are. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced in the entire service-related industry in Saskatoon - it baffles me how this place remains open as clearly the reviews get worse as time goes on (check yelp and google). I am a spa-junkie and pay for approximately 2 services per a week at various places throughout the city (for the past 20+ years). I have never been as disappointed as I have been with Sunsera on Gray. After being loyal customers for 6 years, a staff m...ember cancelled my husband's 10 minute hair appointment (made December 3rd for December 21st) and slotted someone else in. They accused me of cancelling it 3 days prior and then showing up for it. They would not tell us which staff member cancelled it despite having that info available to them. They would not provide the haircut even though the new appointment they booked had not shown up yet. We were told to come back at 6:00PM, we asked for 6:30PM but were told no because the stylist had been there all day and wanted to go home. I waited until after the Christmas season and called to ask for an explanation and an apology as their mistake interfered with our evening plans. I was told by Coleen that "these things happen anywhere you go" to which I disagreed - you would never see something like this at JFY or Beverley Ashdowne without it being rectified. Colleen continued to be unconcerned and inattentive so I asked to speak with the owner April Hanna as it was beyond me that an owner would tolerate the lack of professionalism we were shown thus far. I went there today and was excited to get my nails done. At first I was basically told I wasnt able to have long nails because of how short my original nails were. I had never had an issue before in the past with long nails but I agreed and got shorter ones. I had asked for cofffin shape and wasn't given that shape at all. I think she did not know the shape or was a new nail tech but she left my nails uneven. And was trying to use not enough product product she could so because of that she had to redo my thumb three to four times with more gel because she wasn't putting enough on. After that she didnt do the best job painting my nails because it is very splotchy and the sides of my nails weren't painted.... so after that I didn't want to be rude so I paid and left. after coming home and seeing the nails in true lighting I could see how splotchy and uneven they were. I tried calling back to talk to a manager and receieved attuitude from the receptionist because I wanted to see if the manager were able to call me before I leave the city because I don't even live in Saskatoon. As a paying customer that comes here out of town I feel like I deserve some respect especially when I still paid for my nails that weren't done correctly. Read Less

Had an issue with my nails (They made my finger bleed and couldnt even get colour on my whole nail or make the length even) and was basically told there's nothing they can do and the person I spoke to on the phone (kelsey) was very snobby and rude and apparently there's no managers available and they have no idea when their manager will be in. Completely unprofessional especially because I was a recurring customer. Guarantee I won't be going back ever again and I highly suggest that if you want good nails done you go somewhere else they charge $90 + and can't even own up and fix nails when they make a mistake and then get super rude when you even mention that something was wrong. Terrible customer service. Had an issue with my nails (They made my finger bleed and couldnt even get colour on my whole nail or make the length even) and was basically told there's nothing they can do and the person I spoke to on the phone (kelsey) was very snobby and rude and apparently there's no managers available and they have no idea when their manager will be in. Completely unprofessional especially because I was a recurring customer. Guarantee I won't be going back ever again and I highly suggest that if you want good nails done you go somewhere else they charge $90 + and can't even own up and fix nails when they make a mistake and then get super rude when you even mention that something was wrong. Usually get leg waxes there but lately I've been noticing more hair is just torn than pulled out of the root. It's fine when it's a little bit, it's to be expected, but lately it's been most of my hair. The prices for waxes are decent, but I'll probably be looking elsewhere. The ladies also rarely speak to me. Also got a Pedicure there and was quite disappointed by the service. It seemed rushed and the foot massage was weak and very short. Not impressed. Read Less
