What an AMAZING pedicure experience!!! My daughter & I went today and Abbey, the Beautiful Owner, fit us in on short notice as she had a packed day of clients. We had a pedicure & I have to say these ladies gave us brand new good looking feet. This place is a safe haven for beautification!!! Abbey is extremely down to earth, personable, friendly & makes you feel relaxed & at home. The place is very clean, professional & the music is relaxing. Bilan, one of the staff & Abbey have magic hands when doing a pedicure. They were both so attentive & caring when messaging our feet. I'm a regular Shellac manicure and pedicure customer in a salon downtown Montreal, where they do an excellent job every time. So I'm not a newbie when it comes to nails. Since I'm now a nursing mom, I had to find another place closer to home, because my baby does not drink from a bottle and thus I can't be away for too long (she's always hungry! Hahaha). I chose Vixin based on the positive reviews, but I was disappointed. Beautiful and very pleasant salon, overall ok service, but don't expect much when it comes to cuticle removal and nail prep. The pedi was not bad, but the many was yucky! The lady didn't clean the nail properly and only applied nail polish to the middle of the nail, avoiding the areas close to the skin. When she asked me how I liked it I told her that I didn't think she did a good job for the cuticles. She simply replied that she couldn't do better because she would hurt me. She then continued the manicure without fixing the issue and was clearly annoyed that I told her I didn't like it. She ignored me until I left, which I found was very unprofessional. I don't think I will be going back, I can do this sort of job myself, at home, with the exception of a regular nail polish and not Shellac. Read Less

This was my first visit ever. I have been to many salons (expensive and inexpensive) and all have dissapointed me with either poor hygiene or cheap diluted polish. I booked my appointment online which was great ! I was booked with Abby but someone else did my shellac manicure. She didn't talk much and she was very rough. It hurt so much I wanted to cry. However, the end result was amazing ! She did a great job and now the test.....will this last more than 4 days ! All previous salons, the shellac came off or chipped after 3 days:( Read Less

Walked in the salon without an appointment because the website does not specify if it is by 'appointment only'. No one greeted me among the 2 women working, therefore I spoke and asked if I would be able to just get a polish for my toes. One of the ladies smirked and asked if I have an appointment. I did not and she no longer said anything to me. I then asked if it was by appointment only, and she responded yes. She did not ask me if I would like to come back, wait, or make an appointment. My friend and I went for the first time. We were impressed with the service , the cleanliness and the services provided. We were treated like princesses. I can't wait to go back and have more than a manicure. Abby was extremely patient with me while trying to take my acrylic nails off, a service not normally performed here. J'ai visité ce salon le weekend dernier et j'ai adorée! L'endroit est bien décoré, c'est beau et accueillant. Le personnel est très sympathique et la qualité des soins et produits est super.
