I have been to this salon for years. This is by far is one of the best salons in the area. Their nail technicians are really good at what they do. My favourite technicians are Helen, Jenny and Henry! First time I went here I had an awesome experience with my pedicure but second time I went with my daughter for manicures the employees were yelling at us because they never told her where to sit and said we should tell the tech what we want when I booked 2 manicures in advance and repeated it 2 times when we arrived. I actually liked this place at first but Henry started getting very ignorant towards me because I’m “picky” and never know what colour to do to my nails. He disrespected me and said I’m always a “problem” and I’ve been sitting for 15 minutes and couldn’t even pick what colour to choose and constantly kept kissing his teeth at me as if it’s not me paying my hard working dollars to get my nails done... he definitely lost a loyal client but everyone else there seems sweet. Been a regular at Nails on Yonge until I moved to Whitby. People here are nice and I'm satisfied with my nails. I usually get Shellac manicure for $30 flat if you pay cash. They're pretty good with accommodating walk ins even if they're busy. Read Less

Nothing but amazing things to say about this nail salon. From the professional and friendly staff all the way to the cleanliness of the atmosphere, it's wonderful. From the moment you walk in you're greeted by the owner Mike with a smile and a friendly disposition. The staff is professional, friendly and they do a fantastic job. I am always happy when I leave. My nails look amazing, courtesy of Henry. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and every time I walk through the door I am greeted as if I were family. In all my years I've never experienced this type of hospitality and professionalism. Great place, top notch! Horrible Horrible service, Nails were done too fast for both me and my daughter. Nails were not cleaned, and were charged for shellac but service was incomplete. The manicurists left before we were dry and said nothing so us. They are already ruined. They also stated we had to pay cash or pay double tax. I've been going to this salon for 5 years. This is absolutely the best nail salon in Whitby but you wouldn't know it if you are new to Whitby and read some of negative reviews here! This salon is well known for their biogel nail work. The girls that work there are pleasant and good at what they do. However, be mindful that they tend to push you to try shellac, so if you don't want to pay extra for shellac, just be firm and tell them no. Being polite when you come in goes a long way in getting a good service. They are not there to be your slaves so be nice! The place itself is bright and clean with very little odour from acrylic smell. The owner is friendly and very helpful. Never go here! I got an acrylic set and half of my nails were crooked and they were all thick and uneven. The man who did my nails rushed and wouldnt listen to me when i told him that the nails were crooked. They also didn't have the colours i chose from their samples so I had to chose something completely different. When we complained to the manager about how bad it was she said she had to help other customers first instead of taking off the nails i just wasted my time on getting. I have been going to this nail salon for the past 6 years to do my biogel nail. They have excellent nail technicians work here and they're good at what they do. Nobody is perfect at all time and they do sometimes screwed up but they will always fix your nails quickly without giving you the run around. We went to this salon for the first time after receiving gift certificates for Manicure and Pedicure. We were greeted warmly by the gentleman who sits at front reception and he immediately showed us to our pedicure chairs. We wanted to have shellac on our hands and were presented with the large selection of shellac colours to choose from. The girls that did our feet were so friendly and did an excellent job. Shellac manicures were done to perfection, they even provided warm towels to finish it off. This salon stand out from the rest of other salons is that it is clean, absolutely no stuffy smell that you usually experience from other smaller salons in the area. Worst customer service ever. Owner of the place has no manners, on the drive here he was in the car behind us driving like a crazy person tailgating us "my wife is pregnant". We get into the parking see him come out he gives us a dirty look didn't think much of it. We get inside my wife tells them she needs to have her nails taken off and he embarrasses her in front of everyone saying no he won't help her. Wife and her mom have been coming here a few times but it is for sure going to be the last time we ever step foot there again. Went in today, after being ignored, I asked if they had time to take shellac off but they were too busy. Never offered to take a seat and wait - he said just leave, go somewhere else. Worst salon I have ever been to, took me hours to fix the mess they had made!! After an hour long wait and then another hour getting my acrylics done, I have never been more disappointed. The woman, a senior employee named Jen or something like that walked about numerous times after sitting me down. She made me feel as if she was doing me a favour, and sat and paid no attention to what she was doing having to put layers after layers of acrylic on after messing up the first part. You would not know if a professional had done my nails or a 2 year old! This was a great experience, everything was extremely professional and clean. They cleaned out the massage chairs after every client and were very kind, I also was a walk-in and did not even have to wait they already had chairs ready to go and the prices were moderate. However all the little things cost extra for example, sea scrub, nail designs $5. But overall it was great, everyone was very friendly and my nails turned out beautiful.
