This is the second time within 2.5 months that I've been incredibly disappointed with the quality of my shellac manicure. The first time, 4-5 nails were filed crookedly. I called in ahead of time to get it fixed, showed up on time, and the person who did my nails the previous day (the owner) didn't apologize or acknowledge my presence at all. She simply asked the other nail tech to deal with it. To say that this was a poor customer service experience is an understatement. However, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she wasn't having the best day. I went in again yesterday evening for another shellac manicure and ended up even more disappointed. The shellac was painted right onto my cuticles/skin and because of this, is beginning to chip and lift off my nails less than 24 hours later. This manicure was not worth anywhere near $33. Read Less

First time having my nails done in years and I am not so sold on the idea. Staff was very friendly, although not very conversationalist. Place was clean, so clean, I took my shoes off. Parking at the front was not the safest. Quality of nails I give it 3 stars. I got powder gel. They lasted a week for some nails. The owner was the one who did my nails. She did not paint my whole nail. A millimeter between my nail bed and false nail was not painted. I feel a better job could have been done. When I had asked for a custom zebra design, one nail turned out okay, where the other nail was a zigzag pattern. If I wanted zigzag pattern I would have asked. Prices were a little high for the quality. Powder gel is not for those hard working hands. Would I go back? Maybe, for a French manicure or something more simpler. Read Less

Got gel removed and put back on for 45$ (15+30). I found this pretty high.They shaped my nails really well, but they used a file to remove my previous polish so my nails became really thin. There was also one nail that was uneven, though not that noticeable.My main complaint is that my nail broke within 3 days because they we so thin after they worked on it (and even with gel on top). Had to cut my nails that night but one broke past where I could cut it. Nails turned out nice but I wouldn't recommend it. There's definitely cheaper places out there for the same quality. Read Less

Please don't ever go here for eyebrow threading. During my appointment I could feel that the lady did not know how to thread properly, and she took out the middle of my right eyebrow until it looked like the backwards Nike check eyebrow meme. When she showed me my eyebrow in the mirror, I was shocked and told her she didn't have to do my left eyebrow. I just wanted to pay and leave. She still did the left one, and matched it to the right one aka both my eyebrows are :( Read Less

I just recently went to this salon. I had bio gel nails I needed fixed and a new polish. This place was packed like sardines full of people, even though I had an appointment I had to wait over an hour for my friend as she didn't get started at the same time as me. The nails are much thicker than the ones I got in Toronto, they also do not feel smooth. The shellac polish I had applied looks so sloppy and uneven: missing polish on the edges. Had a really great experience getting gel nails with Yashta (apologies if I misspelled her name). This is easily the best nail work I have ever had, and I have been to many salons in various different countries. Got my nails done here about a week ago, had to peel it off the next day because the shellac edges were stuck on my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. My friend laughed after she saw my nails because she couldn't believe it. I had to pay 33$ for it and it already chipped when I walked out of the salon. I had a 6:30 appointment and they made me wait till 7:10. Overall it was the most horrid nail salon experience I've ever had and I get my nails done regularly. Do not recommend!!!! Read Less

I got my shellac manicure done here. It was my second time. The first time was average, but the second time was horrible. First of all, she didn't cap the end of my nails with polish. Second, the polish overflew and solidified on my finger. And it just doesn't look neat in general. Overall, definitely not worth my money. They are in a good location, and they are fast. This is the best nail salon in the KW. The nail technicians are professional and clean. They carry on a conversation well and makes you feel comfortable.I went with a large group of girlfriends and they were provided free tim hortons coffee and donuts. A huge added plus for a group of girls who wanted to catch up.I came in for a shellac manicure and left with a shellac mani and a regular pedicare.  The shellac mani and the regular pedi cost $50 after tax and before tip. They offer discounts if you spend 40$ or more. The discount was around 10%.They have a variety of CND shellac colours as well as a wall full of Essie and OPI colours.The location is close to King and University, which is easily busable.
