Worst experience ever !!! Do not listen to any positive reviews !! I get my nails done all the time, I decided to go to glamour secrets in Vaughan mills because it was the closest to me at that moment. I just wanted a shellac polish. I called to book an appt and the girl I spoke to seemed so clueless and told me that they didn’t do nails after 5, which I found really odd. I decided to walk in there myself and I asked the girl at the front desk if they did shellac and she said yes (I walked in after 5) I sat down and one of the girls started filing my nails. I told her to keep the length but to only shape them, she did not listen to me. I know the process of shellac polish. She did not abide by it. She did not know how to paint nails... the polish got all over my cuticles and there were air bubbles everywhere. I even asked her if she could fix one of the nails that was bothering me and she refused. I decided to go back the next day because I couldn’t bare the look of my nails... I got them re done by a different girl and the same thing happened. My nails chipped 4 days later all at once ! I have never experienced such horrible service ! This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Do not waste your time ans your money here!

I went to NVU for my hair in November while at our family home in Stuart and decided to call for an appointment. I received a color and highlight from Jackie who was AMAZING. It was the BEST my hair ever looked EVER. I have very dark and curly hair with lot's of body and lot's of HAIR! I am from New England and have repeatedly asked my stylist for highlights and she said she would have to Bleach my dark hair white then color it. Needless to say, I never was able to have highl...ights until I met Artist Jackie! Not only did she color my hair a beautiful color, the highlights were GORGEOUS! Something I always wanted she did it flawlessly. I could see her confidence and it was obvious that she is well trained. I actually walked out of the salon LOVING my hair and couldn't stop looking at it. When I got home and had my hair colored again by a new stylist who was a Paul Mitchel Salon, but not a FOCUS Salon (big difference), she ruined my hair and the top was ORANGE! OMG - I was devastated. I called NVU from NH and the owner explained to me what to do and told me to find a FOCUS Salon. It was the Best Advice Ever! I found one in my area, Thank GOD! I made my appointment for my next trip to Stuart instantly!!! This Salon has got it TOGETHER! I thought I was going to have to fly to Florida to get my hair done... Absolutely amazing place!!! The service is excellent and the attention to detail surprises me every time! The eyelash extension is so beautiful and natural looking. This is one of the few places where you are guaranteed an amazing service, highly professional and highly qualified staff are always ready to assist and help whether it's for a hair cut, colour, manicure, laser threading, eyelash extension, you name it! All the beauty related services provided here are excellent and they also give you amazing tips and make up advice to look your absolute best! I would recommend this place to anyone!

My appointment was for a shellac mani. My cuticles are still hurting from all the cuts I got from the aesthetician. She made 2 phone calls while she did my nails. I could've done a better job than she did at painting my nails. I will never go back to this establishment. Word of advice, don't waste your time or money in this place. Too bad the lowest rating is a 1 because it's not even worth that!

I was casually shopping around the mall, and noticed a big sign that said eyebrows for $7 so I thought to myself, “why not”
While the ladies do seem nice, I was displeased with service. The threading hurt and I was left with a cut :/ I did feel it stinging, but she wiped the brows down so I didn’t notice the cut til I got home, otherwise I would have voiced how unhappy I was. Other than the cut, she did do a decent job with cleaning and shaping the brows. The place also gives you a card, and each visit gets you a stamp. You’re elgible for a free threading/waxing after your card is filled with stamps, so that’s nice.

Everyone here was very friendly courteous and professional. As soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable. The ladies were super nice and very knowledgeable. I have been looking for a good hairdresser for a long time and I have finally found the right place. Mumtaz took care of my hair did an amazing job!! She also gave me many good tips on how to care for my very difficult hair. I really liked how all the staff were nice and helpful among them. I am so happy that I have found such a welcoming and competent hair salon in my area! I highly recommend Mumtaz!

I would give 0 star if I could, stay away from this place. I went in with a long bob and wanted to cut only the sides and have it all the same length. The woman said she understood and would do layer in the front. Once she started cutting, it was a nightmare and she did layers everywhere and didn't know how to cut properly. She wouldn't listen when I tried explaining that I style my hair mostly straight, she kept insisting the cut is for curls. I get it, I curl my hair too, but I mostly straight it and wanted to make sure the awful cut up style she made would look ok if straight too. They need to close down or hire people who know how to cut hair. Also, there was a promotion sign outside saying cut and wash for $25, but I had to pay $67 for a shitty haircut.

This was my FIRST AND LAST time at this salon! Terrible customer service as well as terrible service in general! Went in on a Saturday for a shellac manicure with my sister spent close to $70 and we BOTH had our shellac chip off the NEXT day actually my sisters chipped the SAME night we got it done. I got it done for a family event and all of my skin around my nails was still there and peeling up, my hands looked terrible. Called the store and asked kindly to have it re-done for Monday evening as I've had a personal family issue this week and a full time job that I cannot come before then and was told that if I wanted it re-done I'd have to come the day they wanted me to come. The manager was given my information and told all of this and never asked to speak to me directly instead got another associate to call me. I've attached pictures of my nails and hands. Id definitely never ever go back here.

She looks at me in disgust and says thanks for the warning. As I was about to walk out because of how UNPROFESSIONAL she was, my phone rings. I say, well you may be in luck. I think I have to get back to work. She says, good because I'd be doing the pedicure and i hate doing them.

Don't believe the negative comments. I had the best experience here ! The staff was super kind and friendly and very patient. I had shellac done and it took me forever to decide on a colour but the ladies were extremely helpful and patient and the outcome was outstanding !!! Best nail bar I've ever been to and I will be returning. Prices are extremely fair and the results are amazing.

Worst experience ever !!! Do not listen to any positive reviews !! I get my nails done all the time, I decided to go to glamour secrets in Vaughan mills because it was the closest to me at that moment. I just wanted a shellac polish. I called to book an appt and the girl I spoke to seemed so clueless and told me that they didn’t do nails after 5, which I found really odd. Decided to treat myself tonight. Jill gave me a wonderful shellac manicure. Her attention to detail was fantastic and my nails look great. She is very friendly and very nice. Also had a haircut by Jessica. Her head massage during the shampoo was fantastic. Thank you. Will definitely be back to treat myself again. Great prices and great service.

I made a appointment with brooke for a trim and i love it. My hair feels so heathy she didnt take to little or to much of its perfect. Also its a beautiful and clean salon.
