I had a very pleasant experience at JivaSpa. Dee is very professional and good at her job. I had a signature facial. She started with skin analysis and suggested which facial would suit my skirt n. She took her time with the facial massage, I almost fell asleep.., hehe. She never left the room. The one hour was dedicated to my facial. Neetu is amazing! I went in for a Signature Facial and was so impressed with not only the ambiance of the spa but of her skill. The facial was seamless from beginning to end and her hand movements when giving the facial was fluid and professional and most importantly felt amazing. Relaxing atmosphere of a spa, but medically competent aswell. This place does it all. I was very happy with my facial. I went to Jiva spa today to get my eyebrows treaded. I am VERY picky about my eyebrows... In fact, I was nervous to go to the spa to get them done. Typically I would go to Eye Love Beauty bar, but my residence has since moved, and being a student I cant afford to pay $30 to get my eyebrows done. Coming to Jiva spa they asked what I wanted from my brows, and we spoke about what the best method of archiving what I had asked for. I ended leaving Jiva spa confident that i had found a new location to take care of my brows! They take time, and do their eye brow service with care. However, There was an error with our emails being sent back and forth. I had sent my email about my appointment, but they never scheduled me in. When I showed up they still took me in at the scheduled time even though I was not in their system. When i was paying they re-checked their email and apologized for their mistake. They even explained how it happened! I would give them a 5 star rating if it weren't for the email mix up. Read Less

I was so taken back by a message I received by the RMT I had booked that I decided to cancel because I wouldn't want to be in a room with someone so rude. I'd booked online and it took a ridiculous amount of time for them to "confirm" my appointment - talking months here (I don't live in the area and had to find time that fit my work schedule). Then the day before my appointment, I received an abrasive voicemail from the therapist, basically starting off saying "I'm calling because I'm very, very busy." Then "if you want to cancel, you have to today because I'm very very busy and have a lot of other clients". Finishing off with the charming "You can contact [phone no] if you need and leave me a message because I don't have much time and am very very busy."Geez lady, who's paying who? That said, whoever I spoke to at the front desk to cancel seemed pleasant enough. Read Less

The prices are really reasonable here for the location. The staff is very pleasant and friendly though professional, relaxed atmosphere, quite clean, spacious and pretty decor. Taking a star off because while the person who was responsible for my services did a great job at threading, I found the hot oil head massage a little short, cold and unimpressive and the nail polish for my manicure was very thin - I could still see my nails under the coats of polish - that could just have been the polish I happened to choose but I wasn't too happy about that result.
