I have been going to Fairy Nails for years. The service is great and the place very clean. Susan the owner, always hands out goodies to the kids when they come to her place. My daughter loves her. I have never ever had a bad manicure or pedicure. They are always perfect and my mani's seem to last close to 2 weeks. BTW... I don't use shellac... just regular nail polish. This place is expensive, and they do not take credit cards, BUT: their polish is impeccable.  I get a shellac and it lasts the full two weeks with no chipping or peeling (and I do not baby my hands!).  I tried many other places, believe me.  I did not want to have this be my go to place!  It's more expensive than most salons and I pass 20 other salons on my way there.  Surely one of them would do a decent job...?  I tried.  I went to several other places.  The jobs were rushed, sloppy.  Their polish peeled and chipped easily. The technicians never spoke to you or smiled.  At fairy nails the attendants are friendly, and they take their time with your manicure.  They are particular about how your nails turn out and they give you a nice hand massage at the end.  Expect to be there 45 minutes to over an hour, depending on whether you have polish removed as well.  Yes, expensive but also worth it! Called on a Sunday hoping to get a much needed gel fill. They were able to make me an appointment fifteen minutes later. Parking in the rear was fine, there were a few empty spaces even though there were several happy customers inside when I got there. The dip style of gel nails was new to me but it turned out great. My nail tech was Genie (I may have spelled it wrong but she said Genie like the lamp) and she took her time and made everything perfect. The price was fabulous, I expected it to cost more in Toronto than my usual nail place in KW. I'll be back and I recommend them! Read Less

I would not recommend anyone to this place. I had my nails done with shellac at this place. And not even 25 mins later i reached into my purse to grab my wallet and the polish chipped. Within less than 24 hours of having this poor shellac job more of my nails became chipped. My friend also experienced the same situation with this salon. In all the time ive gotten shellac NEVER HAS THIS HAPPENED ONCE. ive been to various salons and gotten shellac done and it doesnt chip...ever..My friend and I were so unappealed by this poor job that we didnt want to get it "fixed"  we simply wanted to receive the money back because we both knew that we could go somewhere else to get good shellac that would never chip.The woman in charge was reluctant to give us our money back. She mentioned that the owner of the salon was away and she could not get a hold of them. She was put in charge yet she could not refund the money!. She claimed that in all the years that this salon has been active never has this happened which i hardly believed. It was clear that this shellac was poor quality. She kept coming up with reasons to not refund the money back when they provided a faulty service. After arguing for fifteen minutes, she finally gave us the money back and literally escorted us by our arms out the door. Definitely not a fairytale experience.Also, it's 2016 and they do not accept credit cards? Again all the salons that i have been to have this payment method. Get with the program please! Read Less

Fairy Nails is a wonderful nail salon.  The staff are extremely friendly and the nail polish selection is large.  Une (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) is the sweetest women.  Her manicures are flawless.  She takes her time, gives a great hand message, and always helps me select beautiful colours for my nails (she has great taste!).  Parking in the back is great - salon is clean, and I never have to wait once I get to the salon.  Appointments are always on time!
