Great service from arrival to departure. Relaxing ambience. The manicure and pedicure had a few imperfections, which I did not mind all that much because a) the person was new and b) I was able to fix them myself at home. I went with a friend and her nails were done fine. One small gripe is that for the entirety of the 2.5 hours I was there, the reality show, the Hills, was playing on the large screen. Could have used way less of that :) I used a travelzoo coupon which totalled 90 for 2 sets of mani-pedis (plus bubbly), with an additional 20 thrown in for tax and tip. I came in today for my first time and had my lashes done and a spa pedicure. Such a great experience!! The staff were absolutely lovely! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing which is what you want when you take a day of relaxation for yourself. The space itself is warm and clean and very chic! Tea in cute little tea cups and saucers and mimosas are offered which fit in perfectly with the vibe of this salon. I will be coming back again and again. As soon as I entered the doors I was immediately greeted and treated so well. I’m a very awkward and nervous individual and the team at bside beauty made me feel so welcomed and cared for. I got my nails done there, as well as eyelash extensions, and both were done with such precision and grace. Both technicians were so kind and never made me feel unwelcomed for even a second. They always made sure I was comfortable and happy. I’ve know this review doesn’t really explain much, but I’ve never felt so happy with my experience at a salon before. Had a pedicure done there about a month ago. The pedicure was professional and thorough, and the polish lasted alright. The space is clean and bright, with comfy chairs. Movies are projected onto the wall opposite the pedicure station, which is a nice diversion.  The price point is a bit higher than many other nail salons in the area, but it's also a step up in atmosphere. Ladies who are prone to in-grown toe-nails should know that they only have curved nail cutters, which are verboten if you have this problem. Suggest that they stock up on some straight-edge cutters, because cutting nails on a curve instead of straight across is one of the causes. Read Less

Came in this morning for a pedi with my 6 month old- they offer mom and baby friendly hours on Tuesday from 10-1 (hello, genius). The space itself is stunning- Eames pedi chairs with beautiful white bowl sinks for your feetsies, Eiffel chairs at the mani bar, a live moss/succulent wall, lots of light.. it's not your run of the mill nail place. They have a wall they project movies onto- today was Chasing Amy which actually happens to be one of my all time favourites. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Love the team here! I am firstly so excited about their mummy day on Tuesdays - I can take a screaming baby in for a manicure and not feel guilty! Well, I still feel guilty. The girls here tried their best to make my baby girl laugh and hold her while I got my service - which I greatly appreciated. I came to this beauty bar last week for a manicure. I'm usually super basic with my colour choices but because of all the options and examples they had I ended up going with a chrome shellac and it was a great decision. I've gotten about 10 compliments on my nails in the past 7 days. This is day 7 and it has stayed chip free! The staff is friendly and clearly knowledgable and the space is beautiful. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and a shellac manicure.  It is a cute spot.  The young lady who did both was nice enough but didn't seem very confident about doing the brows. She did a good job on the nails.  It just felt a little unfriendly (except for the couple people who came in and out who they seemed to know well) and it was a bit pricier than the usual places I go to.  There was not a noticeable difference as to why it is more (other than the cute décor).  Also, I heard afterwards that there is a 20% discount for the first visit which no one told me about.  So overall good, but not really feeling like going back. Wonderful experience, the girls that worked with my fiance and I were amazing. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and chic. They sterilize all their instruments, and throws any disposable items, very sanitary. My fiance got a regular mani-pedi, I got the shellac mani regular pedi. It looks great, my fiance said it was the best mani-pedi ever. The ladies gave hand and foot massages, and offered us tea. I went to BSIDE Beauty for a special NYE Package that included chocolate covered strawberries and a delicious beverage! My nails were done by Technician Emma. She was very gentle and precise. I had a regular polish done. My makeup was done by Zoe. She was very friendly and made me feel at ease. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to deliver.
