I have been to this nail salon multiple times.. first experience was awesome so I continued to go back despite the distance from my home. I purchased a gift certificate for my daughter to get a mani/pedi done. Life happened and over the course of a year we moved, I had a baby and she lost her gift certificate. She found it this past week so I drove over to see if they would make an exception and still allow her to get the services I ALREADY PAID FOR!! Low and behold I was met... with a very rude man that had absolutely no problem saying NO. When I asked to speak to the owner he said he was the owner. Bottom line: yes, we absolutely should have used the gift certificate before the 6 month expiration date.. however NO amount of talent in services makes up for the complete rude attitude towards a customer. I’ve worked a long time in the customer service industry, specifically in salons and spas and that behavior by an “owner” is completely unacceptable. Actually, I think their staff and services are wonderful but I am really upset that they DO NOT sterilize their instruments. They bag them like they do and always turn them upside down on the counter so you can't see that the brown color changing dot isn't brown. (It's still pink indicating it hasn't been sterilized.) I live in the NPR/Trinity area for some time now and have bounced around a few different nail salons. However, I absolutely love this salon! So much that when my 10 YO daughter wanted a mani/pedi birthday party this was the only place I had in mind! Diane and the entire staff is amazing! Everyone knows what they're doing but my favorite is Vicky. She's fantastic!!! The salon is super clean and the pedicure stations are very sanitized because they use liners that are thrown out after each use. The atmosphere/ambiance of the salon is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend! Very rude we are in Smiths Falls and I wanted to get my nails done she was fully booked and we asked about other salons and her response was "I guess so" wow we generally love the local businesses here but not this one wow we have friends who live here and going to a wedding we just needed a quick help and she was of none.
