I have always LOVED going to Soie, it's probably the best place in town. Today however I did not have a good experience. My sister and I booked appointments yesterday, for both of us to get acrylics. When we showed up for our appointment they stated there was only one person who could do acrylics at the salon today. Then brushed us off. I understand that mistakes/ Miss-communications happen, but they didn't even offer to book us in at a different time, or try to resolve the situation at all. I was in recently, not the same experience I had previously. Demeanour of staff was poor, very into their phones and speaking their language amongst each other. Also the cleanliness of the stations was questionable. My shellac did not last beyond the week. I hope this review gets the store back to where it was a year ago. Very disappointed! Read Less

My friend and I got the exact same thing done today but she was charged $5 less than I was, they did a good job on my nails but the woman who did mine kept hitting the skin around my nails with the tools and file. Overall not a terrible experience but not the best either. Would be great if they properly priced the manicures. Read Less

So...my friend, her daughter and I, had travelled 7 hours....behind the hotel we stayed at was Soie Nails. We decided to get Pedicures. It was 7:15pm when we walked in and asked if they could do us.(I noticed the hours on the sign, but had no concept of the time of day.... they close at 7:30) No questions asked, Not only did they accommodate all 3 of us... All the staff were AMAZING.... my feet Are PRETTY... and feel GREAT!!! Absolutely will return!!! Totally recommend to anyone looking for services ...clean, efficient, friendly, accommodating. I am not too sure why this place has such great reviews....maybe it was just the person that'did my nails. I came in with my wedding party back in October....we had an appointment which I soon realized is a waste of time because you're still going to wait as if you were a walk in. The guy who did my nails seemed to have better things to do. I asked for a French manicure...which I got but my thumb nails were put on crooked and extra gel had to be used to make my nail wider because he used tips that were bigger than my natural nail. I also had a thick layer of gel underneath the tip that got caught on everything....normally that is filed down. All in all I was really disappointed and wished I went somewhere else. Simply amazing! I had arranged my wedding party to go get our nails done the day before my wedding. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. They did amazing designs on the little girls and made sure they felt comfortable. Cupcakes were put out by the owner and a gift given after all was said and done.
