Got to my appointment a little early and they took me in right away. Had a mani/pedi done. I felt that my feet could have been scrubbed a little longer as they didn't seem as soft as I expected after. For my mani, I showed the person a picture of the colours I wanted and she took her time trying to match them. I chose to do shellac so that it would last longer. A week later, my nails started to just peel off .My sis in law gets shellac and ive seen it last for a month or more. I paid a lot more than I was expecting and I am not impressed of the quality. Overall, place is clean. Massage chair was really nice, my nails looked nice, relaxing environment. However, don't think I'll be back. If my nails are going to fall off after a week, I'd rather paint my nails at home and save the money. Read Less

My first visit was awesome. I was super stoked on.the girl that did my nails. We connected on a friend level which was nice too. The second time, I called and made an appointment with the same girl, when I came in, they gave my spot to someone else by mistake, so someone else did my nails. No big deal. But the guy that did my nails reamed of cigarette smoke and he hit on me. He asked me out, which made me crazy uncomfortable when I had to decline half way through my nail fill. Needless to say, I didn't return. All the nail shops in this city suck. When I watch instagram quick videos in manicure or pedicure, I'm like "NO ONE EVER DOES THAT!" Just bogus. Very basic service that actually charges more than a local favourite spa that offers proper manicure and pedicure services. My polish was applied in a rush with no care to how it looked and whether it was evenly applied. The edge towards the cuticle was unevenly applied and without a clean edge. The sides and tips of my nails remained bare on many nails. The polish was swiped on in a hurry and without actually looking at all angles of the nail, as most nail technicians tend to do. Honestly, most people can perform good hand and foot care at home. We go to the salon for professional polish applications. The polish and topcoat were not wrapped at the tips, so of course there is unsightly shrinkage. I am no esthetician, but even I can apply my own polish with a more professional end result. I won't be returning, because I recieved very little value for my money and the quality of service was lacking. I was charged $39 for a simple Mani/Pedi and was not even given a reciept. Read Less

I did a walk-in and I was served almost immediately. The man who did my manicure  was thorough with his work and was quite the comedian! Everyone who was there getting their nails done seemed like regulars which is probably a great thing. Make sure you don't get suckered into all the extras if you don't want them (nail design, rhinestones, etc) I was super impressed with the outcome and will probably come back for a pedicure next time as well! Nowhere in St Catharines will you get nails or nail designs like you will at Nail Experts!! My girlfriends and I used to go all the way to Toronto to get stellar designs until I was introduced to Kenny and Katie!! The salon is gorgeously decorated and always clean. The staff is super friendly and always willing to accommodate the customers needs. I have never had a bad experience at Nail Experts. I have much longer nails so Kenny is my go to guy for designs..but so many of the staff are great at hooking up beautiful nail designs!! Check them out once..you will be hooked!!!!
