Yesterday was my second visit to this salon. The first was actually quite good, there's a large polish selection and the place is clean and looks professional enough for what it is. My first visit I got a shellac mani and a normal pedi and the job was great, the girl who did my nails took her time and did a job that lasted weeks. When I came back yesterday, however, my experience wasn't too great. I asked who I believe the manager is for a shellac polish change, which is $25. She did not communicate this to the girl who was doing my nails and so I was forced to pay $35 for a shellac manicure. This could've been overlooked if the job done on my nails was fine. When giving me my manicure, the girl doing my nails made my cuticles bleed not once, but three times, on three different fingers! You would think that she would apologize, I've never had my cuticles bleed before and it hurts quite a bit. You would also think that maybe she would stop cutting so much off after the first wound, yet she still continued to make my bleed. A day after, my cuticles hurt whenever they get wet or if I touch them. So in short, I paid more to have my cuticles bleed and hurt. Obviously it will depend on who you get, I've never actually had this happen to me. However, I would've absolutely appreciated a discount or apology, and maybe settle the dispute of the quote I was originally given for my nails and honour the price the manager gave me initially. There needs to be better communication, and if it isn't compensated then the customer service is not there. I'm not sure if I will come back as I am put off by the blood and poor customer service. I am likely to seek for a better salon even if that means slightly higher prices. Read Less
