Took my mother here a couple of times. Appointments were booked both times. The first time, they took her in an hour late. The second time (pedicure) they told her she had to leave before they even finished the service despite her checking upon entering that they would have enough time for her - essentially telling her to leave before her nails had dried. This salon is AMAZING!!!! I have been to many in the past, and they all pale in comparison to Pedi N Nails. The entire staff is so sweet, talented, efficient, and accommodating; I have never once been disappointed. The salon is always extremely clean, the prices are very reasonable, and they always have new colours to choose from every time I go in. I can't say enough good things about this place! I always see Helen, and she never fails to disappoint- my nails are always beautifully done and exactly how I want them. I would give them 10 stars if I could! I love this Pedi & Nails location! I’ve been to a couple of others as well, but I keep coming back to this one. My experiences with this particular location have been amazing! Tina, the owner, always ensures customer satisfaction to the best of her ability especially considering how busy the salon is. Sophie, (The Manicure Queen), who usually does my nails, is incredible! She takes time to ensure that my needs are met & is great at what she does. She truly cares to see if I am satisfied with my service every single time. She recommends colours & products that may be of interest to me constantly - which always helps because I can never decide on a colour! She also is super polite and sweet to chat with. This was my first and last visit to this salon.  I chose the perfect match nail polish, which was shellac on my hands and the "perfect match" polish for my feet.  The colour was close but NOT a perfect match. I waited about 30 hours before I put closed toe shoes on and the nail polish smudged off the tips of both big toes.  I have NEVER had this happen before.  I have been getting pedicures for over 15 years and my husband used to own a nail salon.  So I called them and they said that they did not guarantee non-shellac nail polish but would take a look.  When I got there, they agreed to repaint them but I paid an extra $5 for the longer lasting OPI nail polish.  Guess what?  It wasn't longer lasting and did the same thing. The shellac that I got on my hands was the worst. It discoloured and stained with dirt.  It also is coming of the tips.  Again, I have never experienced such poor quality nail polish. This is too bad because the nail tech did an exceptional job and gave a great massage.  Unfortunately for me, I went on vacation for two weeks and suffered for those two weeks having disgusting nails.  I did not go on a beach/pool vacation so I was NOT in the water.  I'm not sure what kind of polish they are using but it is terrible and did not even last 24 hours, even the shellac. The worst part is that this salon is more expensive than other salons AND they charge even more for the "longer lasting" polish which is no different than the regular polish.  Stay away from this place.Further to the response from the salon, I have been doing a similar colour of shellac on my nails since April (it is now the end of July) and have never had a problem with staining at my usual salon.  After a couple of days my nails looked dirty. My friend and I went in for a two shellac pedicures and two sets of fake nails. When the lady asked if i wanted gel or acrylic, I responded gel and she gave me the most expensive form of gel without telling me and two nails snapped off the next day. I chose to go to this nail salon with my daughter and we were pleasantly surprised about how great it was. After reading many of the negative reveiw's we wanted to see if Pedi N nails actually was what people said it is. My daughter had Lisa and i had Helen and i heard that Lisa wasn't a good person to have. She seemed very nice and she also made my daughters nails look amazing. They are always trying to up sell very pushy. I go in for a fill and they try and sell me a manicure. I want powder gel " no no bio get is better". Now after just one week I'm stuck with 2 broken nails. The girl was always bending my fingers like I was moving or too stiff. She cut me on 3 fingers. This place didn't even deserve one star to begin with but I felt like our community needs to be fully aware of what goes on in this poor excuse of a salon. So I came in to fix a broken acrylic and to get shellac polish taken off and changed. Of course she (LISA) was over pushy and offered me a fill about 6 times- no big deal. But when she got it through her thick scull that I was sure of what I wanted and to just do so, she began removing my shellac. She finally started painting my nails (after making multiple unnecessary comments about my sweaty palms) she asked me where I get my nails done and proceeded to tell me that their powder is cheap and it shows, bashing the salon and their supplies. Lastly, she proceeds to inquire about my sweaty palms which have been my biggest insecurity since childhood, and when I responded with some attitude saying "yes, I've always had sweaty palms. And to be honest it doesn't even bother me. You're the only one who seems to be inconvenienced by it actually." And HERES where it gets good.... She turns to the woman she works with beside her (obviously unaware I'm a bilingual sales representative) and says "THIS DISGUSTING. I BETTER GET A TIP!" In Chinese !!!! I live in the area and this is the only nail place I go to. It is by far one of the cleanest nail salons I have ever been to- they always use a new set of tools for each client! The products they use are top quality - my shellac manicure always stays on for 3-4 weeks! Save your money and don't bother trying the other mediocre places on Bayview. Read Less

This is one of the best places I've been too and I am a regular.  They are clean, sanitize all equipment, and they use a new nail file, cuticle pusher, etc for every customer and then discard it or you can keep it.  Great selection of nail polishes, OPI and other brands. Staff is very experience and attention to detail.  My favourite person there is Vicki, she's amazing at what she does, a perfectionist but they are all great technicians there.  Owners are friendly, run a great shop and clean.  Check this place out and make sure if you are going on a weekend make an appointment as they get busy!! I went there on February 17th for a booked appt for 3:30pm. When I got there, one of the ladies claimed she didn't see my appt in the schedule. I told her the man called me back to confirm an appt for me but she kept insisting it's not there.. I told her I had the phone record. She kept repeating it's not there, even one of the clients asked her whether the man was still there and I hear her whisper he left already.. She then asked me to come back at the end of the day because they were fully booked. I don't usually get upset but this was a bit ridiculous.  The whole point of me making an appt was to be courteous to them. It's so unfortunate because I had a fine experience with them the first time I went there for a shellac pedicure and manicure (it was with the older lady). However, my sister-in-law has mentioned that the last few times she's been, the girls were being too quick and cutting her cuticles too close, to the point where it would be nicked. Finally a clean nail place with a large selection of shellac and sterilizes all their tools.Came in to get my nails done for a wedding, the place closest to me was closed so thought it'll be worth trying a new place.This place is quite new, around for about 2 months.  First impression is that it is bright and clean.  I noticed that there were sterilization machines for the tools, and all files were individually wrapped and disposable. Very nice. They had a large selection of shellac colours, which included OPI (my favourite) and colour changing ones ($5 extra).They took their time to take of my existing shellac and manicure.  The led lights used were the original OPI lamps, which cures it properly. One qualm I have is that the layers were a bit thicker than I would have liked, but not a big deal.Most likely would come back again, to try the pedicure.
