I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years at many, many, locations in Ontario and Regal nails is one of the best!!! They are very busy so book ahead. I have found other nail places always make you wait and many times they say 10 minutes and it ends up half an hour. The ladies are very friendly, love to chat :)

Would not recommend! I have only been here once before, a couple of years ago when they first opened; normally I go to the nail salon that is across from the Walmart but they were booked. I made an appointment at Regal nails and came early like they told me to but had to wait, because they had taken 6 walk ins before me, there were only three ladies doing nails as well, bouncing back and forth between customers trying to do two people each at one time. I waited patiently because I didn't have anywhere to go, and wasn't upset at first. When it came my time to have my nails done, I told the woman what I wanted (one color with sparkles) and she gave me a dirty look and said "WHY?" because that is what I would like? When it came time for what shape I wanted my nails I told her and again she got mad, I asked for almond shape, and she said no and gave me cuffed shaped ones instead. It made me very uncomfortable that I wasn't given choice. When she asked me which colors I told her the number of the color I wanted and a sparkle polish, and she yelled at me "You want two colors!?" said yes and she started to talk to the girl beside her in their language, and seemed like the conversation was getting heated, I didn't realize that doing what the client asked for was such an inconvenience. She was very rude the whole time my nails were being done, and was being very rough; she would yank my hand and throw it away when she was done. When my nails were drying I felt discomfort and pain where the nails were done; I looked at my hands when I got in my car and noticed that where she was filing my nails and cuticles with the sanders I had multiple cuts and I was bleeding. I came home and washed my hands and the cuts hoping I will not get an infection. Definitely not worth my time or money!!! I rate this ZERO

Never will I ever go back. The surface of my nails was filed right down to skin because she was on her phone the entire time, as well, she filed the bottom of my finger, no, not the nail, the pad of my finger, because she paid no attention. Then continued to take short cuts and slack off on her job. My nails came out half rounded, half square; completely missed strips of top coat on my nails, so they weren't glossy like a French manicure is supposed to be, and almost broke my thumb, reeming on it trying to turn it to a comfortable position for her to work, when I said my hand doesn't bend that way, she said I have to change that.
Not to mention I paid $30 for an acrylic set, then was told French manicure or colour will be ano extra $5. The lazy people they are charge an extra $5 just to have white plastic tips put on, rather than the regular natural coloured ones they use on solid colour nails.
Extremely unimpressed and will not ever go back. They are just money hungry. They don't care about the quality of work or their customers.

We made an appointment for 2:30 and we're not seated till 2:50. Once seated the lady said 1 minute and returned after a 15 minute break. We didn't end up getting our nails done together and had to wait double the time since she was going from one to the other. Horrible service and way too over booked. They clearly took walk ins when they had appointments made.

Absolutely done with this place. I was a loyal customer until one visit when she started to paint the wrong colour- no big deal, right? Wrong. I got an angry lecture. I decided to give them another try and they were angry I asked politely for even nails. Last time was today, they were talking as my pedicure was being done (about me no TO me) and then the manager(?) got up from doing nails and walked over and cut my toenails?! Never spoke to ME only to each other. Paid and tipped and I loudly said goodbye and she still didn't reply. RUDE and EXPENSIVE. Try ANYWHERE else!

I felt very insecure when they were talking in a different language because I felt like they were talking about me. Also they cut my finger and didn't put the nail gel to the nail bed. I would give this salon 0 stars but it's disappointing that I can't. You should get new staff. My cut is looking very bad today it has some black stuff in it, I cleaned it 3 times and put polysporin on it and a ban aid but nope I think its infected.

Please check the Durham Board of Health website. I was cut really badly during a pedicure and got a terrible infection. I reported to the Board of Health and when they did an inspection they found the salon is NOT following proper procedures for sanitization. I now must be checked for Hep C and HIV. They only use Rubbing Alcohol for "sterilization". This is not adequate to protect your health.

I will never get my nails done here again. I get my nails done every two weeks and my regular nail salon was fully booked the day before I was going to a wedding and a vacation, so I booked at regal nails. I had only gotten my nails done here once before at Christmas when my salon was booked. They did a terrible job: cut my cuticles which were bleeding and my nails broke literally only a couple of hours after leaving the store. The shellac only lasted less than a week which usually lasts for at least 2. I went last week hoping that this previous time was just a fluke. It wasn't! Less than a week later, I have not a single toenail that does not have chipped paint and two of my nails have broken and two chipped. I have never had this happen anywhere else I have ever gotten my nails done. Very disappointing when you pay 80 dollars and your shellac nails doesn't even last a few days!

I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years at many, many, locations in Ontario and Regal nails is one of the best!!! They are very busy so book ahead. I have found other nail places always make you wait and many times they say 10 minutes and it ends up half an hour. The ladies are very friendly, love to chat :)

Would not recommend! I have only been here once before, a couple of years ago when they first opened; normally I go to the nail salon that is across from the Walmart but they were booked. I felt very insecure when they were talking in a different language because I felt like they were talking about me. Also they cut my finger and didn't put the nail gel to the nail bed. I would give this salon 0 stars but it's disappointing that I can't. You should get new staff. I will never get my nails done here again. I get my nails done every two weeks and my regular nail salon was fully booked the day before I was going to a wedding and a vacation, so I booked at regal nails. I had only gotten my nails done here once before at Christmas when my salon was booked. They did a terrible job: cut my cuticles which were bleeding and my nails broke literally only a couple of hours after leaving the store.
