Last week was my first time being here. I came in for a balayage/ wash, cut and style. Kim(the owner) is who I had as my stylist. She was very friendly and professional. She even offered me some tea while I sat in the chair waiting for the color to process. The salon was bright, clean and very welcoming. My hair turned out great. Melanie always does a great job on my hair. She takes time to get an understanding of what I want before she starts. I enjoy the atmosphere here, where the stylists talk to their clients instead of ignoring them to gossip with their co-workers, which I found happens so often at other salons. I had my first experience at this salon last week and I am VERY happy with the results. I tried to lighten my black hair and ruined it. I went in with orange roots and black hair and came out with a really nice ash brown colour. Joann was my stylist and was assisted by Kim. I was very nervous about going to a salon but they both worked really hard to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I have already got many compliments on my hair and will definitely be returning. Absolutely love the staff and environment at this salon. Joann also gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I was happily taken care of by Joann yesterday, ash blonde highlights, cut and blowdry. I was super scared to go for a new hairdresser after I move to Ottawa since I had very bad highlights experience in another salon. Joann was very attentionate, delicate and meticulous with highlights and cut. She added a special product to protect my hair and didn't use bleach, which I really appreciated. My hair is chatain, fine and delicate. Even after visiting Joann for ash blonde highl...ights, it is healthy, natural (fine highlights), no yellow, just a beautiful natural color. I am definitely recommending her for blond highlights long hair. I am convince that I can have long hair and blonde highlights with her care. I would like to add a note for Kim (the owner I assume) as well who responded patiently to all my concerns and make me feel secure. She is very professional and pleasant to deal with. Best Haircut I've had in 10+ years!!!! I have fine frizzy curly hair and most people don't know how to cut it right but they nailed it! Came here after an at home hair emergency (hair falling out from over bleaching). The ladies were super welcoming and knew just what to do to fix my hair! They offered a reparative treatment and helped me find a cut and colour that would work with my hair! I really appreciate their hard work and efforts, they even stayed late to finish the hair cut! I've been going here since it opened. It's my little treat now and then. I've received a wide variety of services including hair cut, hair dye, manicures, facials, and pedicures. I've always had excellent service and booking an appointment is so easy (I can do it by email!). Kim is always excellent and professional, I wanted to dye my hair blonde/grey and she really helped me find a tone of blonde that suited my colouring and skintone. It looked fantastic, lasted a long time and grey out beautifully- even with the roots showing it still looked amazing. Going here is a treat to myself, and I always look forward to it. I could not believe for the money I paid for a shellac mani, in two days my thumb nail peeled completely off, the next day a pinky finger, a couple days later the other thumb nail. In the line of work I am in I like having my nails done nicely, and I can't have it chip off. The pedi was okay, typical pedicure. But I would not recommend this salon and spa to anyone. Read Less

The man/pedi service was not great. The girl sliced open my finger with the nail file the minute she started my manicure. She didn't say anything about it even though there was blood on the nail file. By the next day my polish was already chipping off. Same with my mom and sister who came with me. The pedicure was fine. I just got the best hair makeover ever! I have had long brunette hair most of my life. However, in the last few years with the onset of sprouting white hairs, the only way to maintain my locks was through the help of drugstore hair dye. But after years of using boxed dye, which can be harsh on follicles, I decided to try something new. I went to a Los Angeles Hair Salon for a modern bob and some lighter highlights. What I got were patches of brassy, almost orange, highlights ...and a boxy bob that looked more like a helmet. I lived with it the best I could until I went to It’s a Wrap Studio and Spa in Kanata. Kim and Melanie did an amazing job! They fixed the highlights from brassy to sandy blonde, blending it so well, my locks looked more natural and even. Then Kim cut my bob so it flowed and moved without looking stiff. It looked amazing! I have had so many people compliment the new cut and colour on how it makes me look so young and refreshed. Not only did I get a great makeover, I was treated to a wonderful experience. The staff was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They instantly knew what I wanted.
