Horrible service, the girl I got didn’t listen to a thing I said. I wanted a basic gel nail, because of the work I do, I didn’t want to spend a lot. She kept trying to up sell me, and applied shellac nail polish, and charges me 50 plus tax, rather than 35 plus tax. On top of that she argued with me at the front of the store in front of everyone, which was so embarrassing. I will never go back. . . On and my nails look like dollarstore press on nails. I went in about a week and a half ago to get my nails done, and yesterday one of my nails chipped in half, so I went in and got it fixed today and paid $5 for it. Then just now another nail cracked off and did the same thing, I’m absolutely raged and not to mention when I went in to get the first nail fixed the lady DID NOT make it look like my other nails at all! 0/10 DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE!!! Absolutely horrible experience!!!!! I went in with my daughter to get a fill, toe nail colour change, and eye brow waxing. Each time I tried to ask about pricing the price changed. They charge extra for nail colour with a fill???? absolutely ridiculous. Very rude as well and the only time they seem to speak english is when it is time to pay. I went here with a friend last year and got my nails painted and it was fine. I went here recently and got a pedicure and it was also fine. I went to get a fill for my nails that I got somewhere else and was very unhappy. I was just going to change to polish and let my nails stay as they were and take them off later, but the woman suggested a UV gel fill. I have acrylic, they have a sign posted saying they had none. She said I could do the UV gel instead and it would be fine. The "UV gel" was just acrylic. It looks like acrylic, she used acrylic liquid to moisten the powder just like acrylic, my nails set/hardened the exact same way as with acrylic and the only time she pulled out the UV light was after she was done doing my nails and was painting them with gel polish. Gel requires a UV light to cure/harden the nails, before you do anything else. An acrylic fill is about $20 + i believe $10 extra for gel/shellac polish and a "UV gel" fill is $35, gel polish included, They are ripping people off, falsely advertising and lying to customers telling them, what is in the jar is gel or gel powder. If you look online, there are a couple gel powder systems for nails, but you use gel first and then top the nails with a powder with a UV light, not just powder and air dry. This place isn't the only one that does it. So many places are telling people they are getting gel and if you question it they say it's "gel powder" and it's better, yet they are just using acrylic and charging extra. I was so angry i just paid and left because I hate conflict, but I will never go back. Any nail salon that pulls this again. I will just leave. Read Less

I used to love this place and go all the time. I went and got my nails done 4 days ago and yesterday my finger was hurting so bad i went to the doctors and i have fungi from the improper cleaning of their equipment! i am so disgusted and now in pain because it in all 3 of my finger nails. i have to take my nails off because the infection is in my nail beds! I am so ashamed i recommended this place to so many people but now i am in pain and so upset with the improper cleaning and sterilization of their tools. NEVER EVER GOING AGAIN Read Less

I don't normally write reviews..have had fairly good experiences here in the past but last night I got the worst pedicure I've ever had... going away so decided to have it redone in Bowmanville at pedi and nails on Waverly and I will be coming here from now on... what an amazing pedicure I am getting as I write this....the morning after the one I received at nice one nails... it's as if I hadn't had a pedicure for a month... First time at this location. Called 2 days in advance for appt, which was for 5 people including two seniors. Had to call back 24 hours in advance to cancel seniors and all good. Turned up on time had to wait 20 min. VERY VERY busy on weekends. First time for my 13 yr old daughter to get gel nails with with french polish. I was very clear with the technician about the expectations. I even agreed to the more expensive process of solar gel and shellac. I was sent to the other end of salon for my services. When I saw my daughter's nails after I was sooooo disappointed! They were thick nails, huge white lines and not cleanly finished at all. When I said something the technitioan argued with me that it was my daughter who said it was ok. I stated again this was her first time and she does not have e anything to compare it to. That I was very clear what was wanted. By this time I was pissed, was told I could wait and she could make lines thinner. No way was I going to stick around for however long for someone who argues with me. Even my nails were not finished completely with no colour on the tips. Terrible customer service. Terrible rushing people through on a weekend. Will NEVER go back and will never recommend anyone to go there, especially on a weekend. Have been twice and both times shellac peeled off a few nails after just a few days. The first time I went back and the girl who fixed it was good. (Usually shellac lasts 3 weeks for me.) My second experience there was awful- the girl was so incredibly rude when I asked her to fix something (I asked nicely). She skipped the top coat and when I asked for it she said she did it (I was watching, it wasn't done). I paid then decided I had to ask for it to be fixed and the woman came back over and told everyone around that she did it and acted like I was crazy. What bothered me the most was that no one else that worked there stepped in to help when they could clearly see I was unhappy with the results. There was a manager observing the whole situation go down and they did nothing. I probably would have gone back to try another person if it was just poor quality but I will not stand for rudeness. I moved to the area where this nail salon is located a few years ago and I didn't want to drive over 45 mins to go to my regular nail salon where I used to live. I was very pleased with how gentle Lena was with my nails. She was kind and their prices were really good, so I keep going back. It's been 3 years now and I always ask Lena or Anna to do my nails, I trust them with designs, colour selection and I'm never disappointed.
