We went on Dec-4th/2017: If we could give this place a zero we would. Right from the start, the manners was right off. The man in the store was abrupt with a lack of true customer service - in fact few of their staff. They were pushy and we felt that we were rushed and that we were just a $ sign and an inconvenience to them. My nail tech was incompetent as she cut me several times. She did not do as I requested, gave me something off of what my original request was and there was no consistency to her work. I can see my old polish in spots. It was my sister's birthday and we wanted to have the girly girl experience with fun and laughter. This was far form that! Both our nail techs spoke to each other in their language and we could tell they were talking about us, as we were not happy at all! My sister hates her nails. We spent $130.00 between us. I know few things about nail products and I did some research when I came home and I wish I had done it before we went there... in my opinion and others the Solar nails are acrylic nails and "Shellac" is a name brand of gel polish, they use this terms to charge you more money. This is a gimmick! Do your research people. WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, WE WOULD LIKE OUR MONEY BACK! SINCE THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN... My complaint isn't in regards to the end result of my nails but rather the health and safety. While having my nails filed she sliced my finger. There was a bit of blood. I thought "ok she will put the file in the garbage after" NOPE....she used the file to gather up all the clippings on the table, put them in the garbage and put the file in the drawer. Horrible experience. I asked for clear shellac nails and I got white nails. Not even close to what I asked for, and I even showed them a picture. I DO NOT recommend and suggest saving your money for elsewhere. Read Less

If I could rate this salon 0 stars, I would. I have been here numerous times, so I am not basing it off one experience but many. However, the most recent time, also what will be my last, was very disappointing. I went to get UV gel, which they tried to do with a powder. A powder, is in no way a gel. Secondly, when I did end up getting gel, which they call bio gel, I could tell they were inexperienced. She did a variety of coats on each nail, not the same number for each nail, the gel was not applied consistently (there was large bumps in many places), and the nails were filed poorly. Bad experience and I recommend to all nail lovers out there to avoid this salon. Read Less

Pleasently surprised. I was pretty skeptical about going here due to the bad reviews but my friend said she liked them so I gave her benefit of the doubt. I can honestly they did one of the better jobs I've had on filling my nails. They were quick but at the same time took their time to make sure they were done right and trust me, I'm picky.
