Disappointing! Friendly staff but poor service. Polish was poorly done on my pedicure (polish was not done to the sides of my toes and I didn't notice until days later), my sister's shellac manicure was terrible!! Her polish was thick, peeled the next day and the colour applied was different than the one she chose on the sample chart. They never cut her cuticles and they were much needed. I've been a client of the Nail Boutique and Spa for two years. I enjoy every visit. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the pedicure and manicure stations are very clean. There's a great selection of nail colours, with new ones added regularly. I love the hot stone massage option that you can do with a pedicure-so relaxing. Complete rip off - went for a simple pedicure and the girl showed me a colour NEVER said it would cost more and my pedicure ended up being $16 more than my friends - completely unacceptable and won't be going back! Read Less

Ive been a long time customer here for years getting both my pedicure and bio-gel done, this was my first time returning with a complaint, however when i came back to ask to get my feet re-buffed (as my feet didn't turn out like they did last time) the one owner tried to argue that my feet were just dry and they looked fine. I tried to explain to her that the last time i had come in that my feet were soft for days, even though i was working full 8hour shifts on my feet. She finally agreed to find someone. And this is after i called in twice to make sure it wasn't a hassel for me to come in, as i find it rude to show up unannounced and demand things of anyone. I was promised to get my feet rebuffed, but after being told my feet were "fine" when they clearly weren't.... lets just say i wont be back anytime soon. If you guys ever want a truly relaxing experience, down to earth people and great prices on pedis, you should check out organic bloom spa. Went here about 3yrs agao and it was ok. Tried it again last week, bad mistake. You feel like just a number. Felt rushed and qualiy of work is not worth the price. People working there are rude and not helpful. I get better quality and better price at other places. Will never go back! Read Less

The best nail salon in Oakville. They always do their best to accommodate clients even last minute walk ins and they always do an amazing job! My mani and pedi always last a long time and whenever I go elsewhere they chip. The salon is clean and the technicians are very professional and they use OPI and CND polishes. Read Less

Staff is very friendly and welcoming at the door. After that it's down hill the manicure and pedicure is rushed and very sloppy. Foot scrub is a waste of time not really sure what you are paying for. You might as well throw ur money in the garbage because you leave with pretty much what you came in with. I will not return. I do not recommend. Read Less

There are at least a dozen nail places close to where I live, but I drive the 20 or 25 minute to Nail Boutique! Have been going there for at least 7 or 8 years.. They run a really smooth business.. Will never go back again. I was there yesterday for a manicure and pedicure and during my pedicure she cut my foot and didn't even notice!! I had to mention it to her even though I was clearly bleeding. Then after she let the manager know the manager came by with a terrible apology all she said was literally 'I'm sorry'. At the end of my experience almost in tears because it hurt so bad the manager offered me a foot product..... I still had to pay full price for my pedicure. I had a really great experience at this place when I came to get a pedicure. The front of house staff was very friendly and professional and we only had to wait a couple of minutes before beginning. I did have a few language barriers with the lady doing my pedicure and the precision of the nail polish could have been better but she was lovely nonetheless. I would come back here because the experience was positive but will be trying out other places that are cheaper first as place came out to $45 for a pedicure after tax and tip. Read Less

By far the best place I been to. I can go 4-5 weeks without having a single broken nail ! I've given other places a chance and I'm never satisfied! I live in Newmarket and when I make my visits to Oakville I will go and get my nails done at this place! I will not go anywhere else and it's also a very beautiful place inside. They may be a bit more pricier than other places but I've realized it's worth my every buck! Make sure you always call ahead to book because on unexpected days and times they are so busy. This place has just gotten worse. I stopped going there about a year ago because I wasn't happy with the pedicures. Also, it was hit and miss with the shellac manicures. Sometimes my nails would be bumpy and would peel within days. In particular there is this one nail technician named Helen who should not do any shellac manicures or pedicures for that matter. My feet were probably scrubbed a total of one minute and were left rough and hard. This was disguised with an extra charge paraffin wax dip that was supposed to make my feet feel luxurious. Of course they felt luxurious because of the wax. But when I got home and washed my feet I felt all the hard skin still there. This place needs to see how manicures and pedicures are done in Europe. Your feet are left without any hard cuticles scrubbed beautifully and a wonderful foot massage. The foot massage at this place consists of 60 seconds on each foot and leg with a couple of hard bangs here and there , some slaps, but no real massage. I don't like to generalize, but this is your typical Vietnamese nail place... Assembly line work, Constant talk in their own language to each other, which I find very rude since I do not speak Vietnamese. I'm pretty sure there are insulting someone in that room at that point. Pay a little bit more and get better results at a European spa. Sorry I tried for a few years, left and tried a new place also Vietnamese, returned again to see if anything had changed but sad to say it hasn't. Too bad because the Decore is really nice. I have been to the Nails Boutique & Spa 4 times for eyebrow waxing. The price has always been $12.00. This morning I went and was told it would be $20.00. I questioned the amount and was told it would be $21.00!! After repeating myself several times pointing out it is always $12.00 the employee agreed to the proper price. OUCH!I've never had such an uncomfortable/painful pedicure before. The technician who did my pedicure never noticed how uncomfortable I was or the painful faces I was making to my friend in the next chair. She filed my nails so briskly with out any care about cutting my skin as the Emory board went back and forth. It felt like paper cuts. Three of my toes have cuts that hurt and I'm praying they won't get infected.The item they use to exfoliate looks like a mini yellow sponge but is incredibly hard and sharp. She scrubbed the bottoms of my feet with it so hard it hurt during, even on the ticker bottoms of my feet and particularly on the sensitive spots that are not as thick as the ball and heel of my foot. Afterwards the soles of my feet were bright red and it felt as though I had burned them, by walking on hot sand. One day later it no longer hurts to walk but I have visible cuts and scratches from the sharp edge.While the space was nicely decorated and clean and the staff were doing their best to handle everybody on busy Mother's Day Sunday, I left with out complaining because I didn't want to make a big deal on such a busy day and with 5 people on like behind me ready to make their payments. Really great 1st visit. I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to take me in immediately. Yen was very quiet (which is perfectly fine with me) but attentive and did a great job on my mani pedi.  My only complaint is that there is one particular nail technician who was very yappy with someone beside me and going on and on about some waist training belt she was wearing and how it is retraining her stomach. Yeah. And then some eyelash product to make your lashes grow. And then eyelash extensions. Blah blah blah.  She was plugging those miracle products. She probably believes in unicorns. Read Less

From being warmly greeted by the owners at the door to paying for my extremely satisfying service, I had a top notch experience here. The services I had done were a shellac mani and a pedi by Joy, a very friendly nail technician. She took the time and care to make sure that my nails were pretty much perfectly done. My pedicure was nicely complimented with a salt scrub, and my feet were extra soft afterwards. After a few days, there was no "bubbling" or peeling at the corners of my nails, which unfortunately, does happen at some places. I am quite rough with my nails and my manicure lasted 3 weeks.
