I have a very difficult time finding places to do my nails. I love having super long nails but find that with many salons they break far to easy. I came here after having 3 split from a previous salon (not even a week after having them done.) The quality was great. I moved to Oakville 10 months ago, and was recommended to go to Kimmy's. The service was very friendly at first with really nice pedicure service compared to many salons I have tried in the past in Milton. The past 2 visits have been very disappointing and I will not be returning. I made sure to call at least a few hours in advance to make double Shellac pedicure appointments for my daughter and I at the same time. My daughter ended up waiting a good 15 minutes while my pedicure started. My pedicure was so rushed, it was terrible. In my previous visit, I also noticed rushed service, and ended up having my one finger sore from improper handling of my cuticles. I recently moved to Oakville and have been in search for a salon with reasonable prices and good service. Believe it or not, so many places in Oakville are neither of those two things. The first time I came to this Salon, I was warmly welcomed by the Owner and her daughter. I had such an amazing experience, talking with them and getting to know them. As well as my nails turning out AMAZING. The greatest part is they let me sample different colours until I was satisfied. I didn't feel rushed or out of place. I got my nails done here before my wedding and brought my mom. I'm glad they recommended the Shalack (sp?) because it's been two weeks, and it's still in great condition. I forgot the artist that was doing my nails, but she took her time and was very pleasant! I was pleased with how clean the salon looked as well. I think my visit was very much worth it. There were about 4 or 5 others getting their nails done while I was there --business is good for them. I'm glad that it is. Moved to Oakville from the States and tried at least 4 different nail salons before finding Kimmy's Nail Salon. It's brand new, incredibly clean, Linda (owner) is amazing and her staff is super friendly! My daughter and I go every two weeks and they are just awesome! I recommend making an appointment!!
