The service was good. The staff is friendly and treat you very well! I got a mani-pedi done with shellac on the hands. I couldn’t decide the colour I should go for on my hands. First visit to bliss today. My nail technician was super rude. The color I chose was empty when she went to paint my nails. She pointed me in the direction of a stack of 200 nail swatches and told me to pick a different color. Never mind in the stack there were selections for, gel, dip, cat eye and etc. that were not separated nor identified. No apology or assistance in finding a new color. I had to ask which was which. I attempted to be friendly. I told her it was my first ...visit to the salon and I was new to the area. It was like talking to a deaf mute. She was at the nail painting stage and I asked should I wash my hands before she paints and she said no and began to paint. I never experienced that before. The technician sitting next to her starting speaking their language then my technician cleaned my nails with acetone. In addition from the time she started until completion 30 mins. Have been here a few times now and pleased everytime. Today I took all 3 of my girls ages 10- 2 and they were VERY patient and caring with them. I was offered wine and my kids bottled water, the pedicares where great and everything was clean and disposal. One of my girls picked gel polish without me knowing and they sent a tech over to ask me if i minded the gel polish as an upgrade instead of just charging me. I appreciate them and the way they work. I really love this place. It’s clean. The pedicure offerings are great even though I personally think they are on the expensive side. However. Every. Single. Time. I wait and wait for service even though I have an appointment. I called today and she said come at 4. So I did. Three others were sitting there as well waiting. Last month when I came my husband and I waited an hour after our scheduled pedicure time. My time is just as valuable as yours. I’m curteous enough to make an appointment and ask what your schedule is. If you can’t accommodate me then say so. Don’t squeeze me in and then make me wait forever. You just lost a loyal client. This place is great. I went today for a mani pedi. It was super clean and the chairs were amazing! The chair even measures your body measurements for your massage. They used disposable materials and offered to let you take the scrub and nail file home. I'll be back whenever I'm in the neighborhood! Read Less

The overall experience was good. The nail technician never asked me what shape I wanted my nails to be & automatically went to square. I prefer oval & since I went from extremely long to shorter nails, asking him to reshape them would have left me with little nail at all. Bliss Nail Spa And Lounge is like heaven on earth. They offer you a variety of services. Everyone gets treated royally, with respect and, of course, with a smile. Lenny and his wife Eve always have a smile on their faces. They and their employees always ask you if you want something to drink, are you comfortable etc. I highly recommend Bliss. I think it depends on who you get. No one offered a drink at any time. I signed up for manicure and pedicure both with gel. A high dollars service, $85. I don't mind paying but I expect quality work and for my service provider to be friendly. There was No talking besides getting irritated when I asked for what I wanted. The guy I got did a extremely poor job. He clearly does not like what he does or acts like he doesn't. Massage was the worst I've ever had. First on my pedicu...re I mentioned it had been many months since I had gone somewhere to have it done so my cuticles were in great need. he said ok but then did not cut my cuticles enough, he barely touched them, so I asked him to do them again and he got irritated. The massage was not even a massage, again barely touched me, no pressure and did Not ask either. When it came time to polish he asked to confirm and I told him I did not feel like he did I my cuticles enough for the polish to even stay so he re cut the cuticles. I was so disappointed. He ran to get his phone mid-polish, came back talking on it as he finished. I went a head with the manicure. He did not use a new manicure kit. He used a file for artificial nails that came out of the desk we were at, then buffed my nails with another buffer from the desk that was for artificial nails. My natural nails feel significantly thinner and I'm scared they are going to break off. He asked if I wanted a massage and I said yes, it was very fast and light to the touch, again he did not ask about pressure or anything. He was not friendly.
