Booked a 3.30pm appointment on a Friday afternoon for acrylic infills manicure and shellac pedicure; arrived on time and they had accepted walk ins right on my appointment time and were short staffed. I sat for an hour before they even started my appointment as they serviced the walk ins. This is the second time this has happened to me here, prior to this they were great! I’m a VIP member and have been coming here twice a month for over 6 months; I would have left and gone else where if it wasn’t for my pre paid VIP card. Lesson learned I think! I’ve come here three times now and had a great experience each time. The salon is modern, very clean and the staff are very kind. I’ve also brought my husband here and he loved it. I love having my nails done but shellac never lasts for me. The girls at the salon suggested I try acrylic instead because of its durability. I loved it and became a regular customer. I never had a bad experience. They were all very welcoming and accommodating as I couldn't book appointments due to my changing work schedule. Also very reasonably priced. Read Less

I will start off by saying I do not recommend this nail salon. I used to be a regular customer, getting manicure, pedicures and other beauty treatment monthly. Last Friday I had a pedicure and shellac nails. By Sunday my nail colour on my fingers looked dirty and discolored. I also have small cracks in the polish on 3 fingers. I went to speak with Cindy today to ask to have this issue resolved. Cindy herself told me "I don't like the matte polishes because they look like that after a day" I asked her than why would she sell a product like this to me or other paying customers? Cindy would only offer to me that she could put a shiny top coat on to get rid of the matte effect. Which I explain very calmly to her was not going to resolve this issue of my nails looking dirty. Cindy told me she would re due a different colour for $15. I told her she had lost my business. What shocked me was all this was going on with multiple customers in the store, one whom saw my nails and was in complete agreement with me and what I was asking to be done. Never have to wait, staff are friendly. Great prices compared to most and you don't have to spend your whole day there. Get in quickly, no nonsense and nails are done professionally. Been many times and can't understand the reviews that talk about not welcoming...almost sounds like we're talking about two different places. Wasn't impressed with my last visit. I often go in to get a pedicure and I have never had a problem. I recently went in to get my eyelashes done. They charge $60 to do the lashes and they do the clumps not individual lashes. She told me they would last about ten days. Three days later not a lash left! Same day I take my kids in to get their nails done 24 hours later every nail was horribly chipped. The pedicure I had done at the same time still looks as it did the day it was done. First positive: the renovations. This place looks much better than when it did when they had rows of fake nails places in the front windows to advertise their services.I visited this location on Wednesday after hastily attempting to get my nails done at two other places. Both were busy, so I came here out of pure desperation. Also, this place has been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right, right?! Well, as I was instantly greeted, the quietest woman came to paint my nails with shellac. First she files my nails, which was really uncomfortable as I felt she was going to rip my nails out in the process. She also took my nice long nails to a much shorter level. I went home and they were so awful and jagged I had to fix them myself. I also noticed they were so uneven, it's like Lan wasn't even looking at what she was doing. Once she painted and everything was all dry, I also noticed there was paint on the edges and tips from obvious negligence. I have not had a worse paint job!Overall, my impatience and not wanted to wait were my own enemies. I wasted $25.The icing on the cake.
