High tea experience was not terrible but nothing to write home about. I was part of a larger group of 10-12, along one long table and they had 2 trays of food, (1 at each end) which wasn't very accessible or classy for the guests in the middle of the table to reach. I have a food intolerance and luckily, upon request, their cook prepared something I could eat. But honestly, for half of a sandwich and a pot of tea, and a couple slices of oranges/berries, $40 seems steep. First time going on a date night here. Atmosphere was great. High end feeling but casual attire was good. Food was excellent and service wonderful. Hello my wife and I were itching for a new experience in a new town and we drove by this place, when we entered we were taken aback from the decorative and the opulence that this historic home presents. Was there for lunch yesterday and enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner the following evening. Only problem was that they became so busy that the servers were over taxed and unable to give the customers the attention they deserved. The food was as good as the day before. During this summer, I have attended two weddings at this venue- one as a wedding guest and one as a bridesmaid. I can say that all went perfect, with no problems or complaints at either wedding. The staff were amazing and it was apparent that they truly cared about the business they were running. I love this place. I get regular pedicures with Emily, who is awesome. My mom, sister and I all come in together once in a while for pedicures, wine, and a good meal. We have been there for dinner and most recently we had our daughter's wedding reception there. Nick and his staff are amazing. The food is delicious and plentiful and presented beautifully. The location is beautiful inside and out. We were there discussing plans one night and oversaw them having a fun night for some guys too using the hall and using one of the walls and putting up a big screen with the hockey game on it. Beautiful dining areas with soaring ceilings and attractive decor. Seats are very comfy and tables are appropriately spaced. Food is delicious and while on the pricier side is completely worth it. The wait staff was easily available without being overbearing. I would completely recommend the Puddicombe house. Read Less

We just were part of an amazing family wedding at Puddicombe house, the setting was spacious yet intimate. The newly renovated space fits in beautifully with Historic Inn. Beautiful resored Victorian Home Inn. We stayed here for two nights while visiting Stratford and St Jacobs. The restaurant is fabulous an amazing porch with dining. I had homemade pasta with sausage and capers. My wife had the marlin special. Both were tasty and cooked to perfection with amazing presentation. For desert we shared the Flourless Chocolate Cake. Enjoyed a lovely lunch in an amazing old home rich in heritage.  How often can you comment on how great a bathroom is, full of antiques?  My sister and I each enjoyed a bowl of French onion soup and we shared a chicken BLT sandwich.  We each had a pot of tea to warm us up on a cold winter day.  A truly enjoyable lunch.  I will be back for dinner and to try out the spa.
