Today was my first experience at Almonte Nails & Spa, and I understand that it’s now under new management.
The spa is now owned by a small Vietnamese family, and the younger of the two sisters who did my pedicure was a pleasure to chat with. She was also extremely meticulous in her work and never once cut a corner or half-assed what she was doing.
I nornally had my nails done at salons in downtown Ottawa that charge twice as much, and yet the quality of service here exceeded what I’ve experienced elsewhere.
Sure, the spa is not super fancy/modern, but it’s very clean and like I said, the quality of service and work is far above the norm.
I will absolutely be returning, and I hope to see more and more residents give Almonte Nails & Spa a chance.

Will never go back the owner/lady doing our nails asked far to many personal questions. For example where we lived, where we grew up etc. She kept asking question even though we were giving one word r...
Will never go back the owner/lady doing our nails asked far to many personal questions. For example where we lived, where we grew up etc. She kept asking question even though we were giving one word responses and were clearly not comfortable discussing such personal info with a complete stranger. My 13 year old sister who has autism was getting extremely agitated, because she has never known a positive relationship with either of our biological parents. Not every child lives with their parents or even speaks to them. I was paying this lady to do our nails not ask us a billion questions about personal information. Will never be back due to this experience. Sad because my nails turned out great.

This place is under new management now. Dao did a fabulous job on my pedicure. I highly recommend her.

Owners make themselves quite available. Products used seem so-so (a manicure done elsewhere lasted twice as long). But mostly, I question sanitation and sanitary practices.

Today was my first experience at Almonte Nails & Spa, and I understand that it’s now under new management.
The spa is now owned by a small Vietnamese family, and the younger of the two sisters who did my pedicure was a pleasure to chat with. She was also extremely meticulous in her work and never once cut a corner or half-assed what she was doing.
I nornally had my nails done at salons in downtown Ottawa that charge twice as much, and yet the quality of service here exceeded what I’ve experienced elsewhere.
Sure, the spa is not super fancy/modern, but it’s very clean and like I said, the quality of service and work is far above the norm.
