Made an appointment for my daughter to have a nail fix, the day of the appointment I received a call from the Salon (while my daughter was in transit to the salon) and was asked questions regarding her nail (which they already asked the day I made the appointment). While answering the questions again, I mentioned that my daughter broke another nail so there would be two to fix. At which point I was told that the nail technician wouldn't be able to fix her nail because there was another client scheduled right after. I asked how long does it take to fix a nail to which she responded, 30 minutes!!!!! WHAT!!! 30 minutes for one nail seriously!!!! She then said that my daughter would have to reschedule her appointment. My daughter was 5 minutes away from the salon while this was going on!!!! I told the girl the day I called, that my daughter was working at 2 pm. Now I had to call my daughter and tell her that they wouldn't be able to fix her nails! Not only did they waste her time and fair but were unprofessional on the phone as the girl kept putting me on hold find out the answers to my questions. Why 30 minutes per nail!!! Are you telling me that if someone comes in for a full set they have to spend 5 hours sitting there!!!! All though it is a nice place inside the staff is young and inexperienced not to mention rude!!!! I have been there in the past and would NEVER return again. I just thought that maybe things have changed but obviously they haven't. As per your response and to correct you.. I was not told it takes ten minutes but 30 and I definitely did not get the breakdown because they young lady on the phone did not even know what the procedure was and had to keep putting me on hold. You were going to reschedule my daughter ant a later DATE!!!!! Don't try to twist this around Karen.....as for my bad review it's not the only one from what I can see!!!! Your staff is unprofessional and imature... UPDATE: Responding to your update which had nothing to do with my daughter leaving the salon....I was there once or twice after that. Very clean and organized salon. I've found both shellac and pedicure color didn't last as long as I am used to. But they use only safe brands to not damage your nails. Not every technician is very skilled so if you get a good one remember her name and book with her. But hey they have a bar license so you can now have that bubbly with your pedi! Read Less

Very warm staff , comfortable place and excellent quality nail polish. I always get shellac for my nails and it lasts for weeks without chipping. Love the entire experience always! :)

Lovely location however my shellac mani started to wear off within 2 days. Upon closer inspection I could see that the shellac top coat was not applied evenly to the outer edges of most nails. It also still had a slight gummy-ness to it. I travel all over Canada and have had some great shellac manicures unfortunately this was not one of them. Beautiful location though! Beverage offering was a nice touch, but the coffee was truly horrible. Read Less

First time here because I just moved to Mississauga. I’ve been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for the past 3 years and I’ve never had this bad of an experience. The girl that did my shellac manicure couldn’t even file my nails properly, did extremely thick coats of nail polish and not to mention it was so messy I had nail polish all around my nails. Save your money because this place is very unprofessional. They just offer coffee and tea and hope that makes up for their inexperienced staff. Read Less

I popped in on a whim on Wednesday at about 10.15am. They were able to accommodate me immediately. I was offered a drink (coffee/tea/water) and led immediately to the pedicure chair. I was greeted warmly and professionally by the nail technician. She checked to make sure the water was a comfortable temperature for me. She was extremely skilled when working on my nails and feet. I felt zero discomfort when she clipped my nails. The massage was just the right pressure, and the exfoliating of my feet was also at the correct pressure - not too much to hurt, not too soft to tickle. She talked a little, then noticed my brain was being sucked out by the TV show they had playing, and so was quiet and let me watch. My nails were painted absolutely perfectly. I had running shoes on so she showed me how to use the massage on the chair and I sat there until my nails were completely dry. Then they put a little oil on my nails to make sure they didn't stick to my socks. The concern and care put into the service was kind, thoughtful, and professional. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone visiting. It is simply the best pedicure I have ever had, and I will definitely visit again. Read Less

First time brazillian wax and was really nervous. The woman was friendly and fast working. There were stubborn patches outside and I was told to come back for a touch up. It wasn't until I got home that something didn't feel right. I had wax left behind on my skin and after talking with friends who've had it done, she left (CRUCIAL) the inner part untouched. I paid full service and called them before my appointment, telling the receptionist what had happened. She apologized and said she would tell head office even though I had to remind her twice of that crucial detail instead of the patches left behind. I was promptly called back the same day and was told there are no refunds and she can personally do my touch up. She neglected to mention to head office that crucial detail I mentioned and still wouldn't offer a refund. I'm not a sensitive woman, but I feel like a piece of garbage after this whole experience. Going to Vixen was a step for myself to feel better and make myself over. Is it that hard for business' to empathize with their clients instead of focusing on monetary gain? Lack of communication and understanding has left me wanting to forget about Vixen nails, and that horrible day. ***Update*** To the owner, I was not provided a full service. A full service wouldn't leave wax in my skin and sections untouched. I don't deny your products and employee's time were used. It should have be an incentive to provide the best (full)service to avoid waste (such as my time and money). Yes, I do demand a refund. I've read these comments before me and you take no responsibilities for anything going wrong as the owner. I even suspect there are fake 5 star reviews to combat the 1 star reviews. Cautionary tale, don't go to a place where the owner won't take the full actions of an owner and denies refunds to keep clientele. Go somewhere else much better. You're better off doing your nails at home than wasting your time here. They are trying to be an upscale salon, but they're missing something key...the good service. Extremely rude staff working at the front desk...comes as no surprise since the "manager" is just as unprofessional. No understanding of customer service- they do not know when they are at fault and cannot accommodate since they always claim to be "fully booked" (although the place is empty inside). I had a horrible shellac polish change that chipped in 2 days. They told me it was because I have oily nail beds and because I never got a manicure. If you saw my nails in the light, I could have done a better job at home. This was my first time trying this salon, but I get shellac done all the time. The colour was not consistent throughout, and again the tips were chipped within two days. What's the point of getting shellac done then? Instead of apologizing for the bad service, they found a way to blame me, the paying customer. Usually you pay a premium for better quality, but that doesn't apply here. Their policy is to fix a bad nail job within a week, yet they have no availability to book within a week because they have only two people working. Their policies do not align with how this place is operated. Will not be going back and will be sure not to recommend this place to anyone I know!! Before they claim to be upscale, their staff needs a lesson in good customer service...and perhaps better training too. --------------- Response to owner below: I was 10 minutes late for my second appointment which was scheduled because I was unsatisfied in the first place. Also, what happens when you guys are late for taking customers...do you give customers discounts? You seem to have no tolerance or accommodation for late arrivals. You are further supporting my opinion of bad customer service. You seem to only be concerned with defending yourself when all that is needed is an apology, and still haven't addressed the issue at hand. The problem isn't that I'm a bad customer, it's that your customer service is poor and you've proved that below. Read Less

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great products. Very accommodating.Parking is street  parking which you have to pay for. Pricing is slightly higher than the average nail salon but it's worth it.

I popped in on a whim on Wednesday at about 10.15am. They were able to accommodate me immediately. I was offered a drink (coffee/tea/water) and led immediately to the pedicure chair.
