Absolutely NO complaints with Sky. One of the best (in fact the best) nail salon I’ve been to in Mississauga and I’ve been going since they opened. Friendly service and staff + they book appointments for services. A huge selection of polish colours and they’re constantly getting new brands and colour variety. My regular services are a manicure shellac ($30) and normal pedicure ($30) - combo together for $58. My fan favourites are Tracy and Kim but all of the ladies do a good job. Really clean environment - they line the pedicure bowl with a plastic lining and never reuse nail files or buffers (they let you take those home including the purple foot scrubber). Drying lamps for shellac are built into the table and they invest in new tools - other nail salons I’ve been to in Mississauga near Eglinton and also Dundas are dingy and so outdated. Amazing Place....Kim is the best, and I would recommend to anyone. I've been seeing Kim since the day it's opened. She is consistant and always patient with me, as I can be very picky at times, but she always thrives to make me happy and succeeds each and every time. Worst experience ever. My nails were different lengths- pinky being longer than my ring finger. One nail was crooked, to which I was told “you have crooked fingers”. The paint job was sloppy, with gaps at my cuticles. The customer service was horrendous, with the manager shouting at me. He didn’t even bother to hear out my concerns. Not even worth a star. Had the worst experience of my whole entire life. The nail technician did not even know what she was doing. She had no clue how to do the coffin shape. Now I have nails that look terrible and no exaggeration, she spent an hour and a half on my nails trying to make it better but it just kept getting worse and worse to the point that I just gave up. I will never go back. Do not waste your time. It’s valuable time I will never get back. ALSO now that you think it is justifiable to say coffin nails do not work good on short nails, even though my nails aren’t even that short in the first picture I posted after your nail technician failed to even do proper shaping. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Sky Studio is the best hair salon with such quality products and services. One day, I had an amazing hair treatment called Keratin anti-frizz that Tuan introduced to me while i was having a hair colour. It lasted more than six months and this is the 3rd time i redo it! my hair is super smooth, it feels so much lighter and healthy. I have been here twice with my mom for manicure and pedicure. It's a great salon and everyone is so welcoming. The only concern I had was, I had 2-3 different people working on my nails. I went to get my nails and feet done on sunday. I typically do shellac on my nails and regular polish on my feet. When I picked my color; I asked the lady for the matching shellac color for my nails and she assured me there was one. Fast forward...she's painted my feet and is doing my nails and colors were way off so I ask her. She giggles, says sorry and tells me they don't match...doesnt even offer to fix it and asks me to go up to pay. I go up to the front desk and complain to the guy and he gets upset at me and starts talking to my nail lady. I have now been asked to pay and told to come back tomorrow. I dont plan on coming back so I go to my car and let him know I'll be sharing my experience. He speed dials the manager who rolls as soon as I am in my car and asks me to come back in..i am thinking she'll fix it but nope..she wants me to come back tomorrow after I've already spent 2 hours there. She then tries to put red polish on my nail to fix the color and seems annoyed at me and also arguing with me. Finally, she decides to refund me for the pedicure only; not all of it ...but now she doesn't have change (supposed to refund $28 for the pedi and all she has is $30). So now she gets someone to go get change so she can refund me.. all while making me wait for a $2 difference! She could have just fixed my nails in the meantime. Awful service and truly disappointed! #customerservicefailI used to go every 2 weeks or so to get my nails done and would have continued to come there if you just spent 30 mins to fix my nails that you screwed up in the first place...i definitely wont be back! that's ~$2000 in lost annual revenue...lets put that in perspective. Very impressed with this salon. I've only been once myself but my mother is a regular. My nail technician was super sweet and paid great care and attention to both my mani and pedi. My nails were perfectly shaped, my cuticles were perfectly cut - no discomfort at all. My only suggestion is a better scrub during the pedicure to better remove callouses. I have been coming to Sky Hair and Nails Studio since it opened very satisfied when getting my Nails done by Tina . All the staff is friendly ,attentive to my needs and leave pleased with my nails getting done. Tom is a great Hair Stylist assists me and my daughter always with the perfect hair tone and cut. This is the only salon I actually go to. They do a fantastic job and I am probably the pickiest customer they have!! I am also notorious for wanting my nails to be perfect so I set the bar pretty high. I get the same colour every single time and I know it's tricky to apply but they do such a great job with it every single time.
