The staff are quite friendly from what I gathered. It was my first visit today and you can see that they do an amazing job as their store was busy and the customers appear to be regulars. My 1st and last time going here. My $60 biogel & shellac manicure didn't even last 1 week! 2 of the tips broke off after only 1 week, and the 3rd broke off this morning after about 3 weeks. 2 of the 3 incidents ripped my own nail off quite low - very painful. I wanted to say that I have been going to a Fabulous Nail Salon called Century Nails in Mississauga. As soon as I walk thru the door I am greeted by the owner and he is so polite and welcoming and they even ask me if I want a cold bottle of water. They do an amazing job on my nails, I have never had them done so beautifully. I am so happy that I found this place and I will be going back to them always. Love this place!! I really wanted to make this my go to nail spot but I can't do it. The service is amazing and almost all of the technicians are friendly. The last two times I came my shellac chipped off after a day. 5 stars all around. The owner, Kim, speaks perfect English and is very friendly and welcoming. All the other ladies are nothing but smiles, as well! It's a very nice place to walk into. Upon arrival I am always greeted by name (I've only been there 3x and they have my name down-pat) and offered a water or green tea. Went back about a week later because I had broken one nail (my fault, was lifting a heavy box and my hand slipped) and they had no problem fixing the nail AND repainting every single one of my nails so that the new, fresh colour matched the rest of my nails. All for free! Service like that is truly 1 of a kind. I recently moved to the area and I went here based on their phenomenal Google reviews and now I understand why they have such a high rating. I did a schlack and after 7 days, 4 nails are chipped...I went back to them to ask how is that?! A lady worker responded to me that THIS IS NORMAL! Which to my knowledge should lasts 14 days.... The customer service is really Zero...Will never go back again to this place. Read Less

I've been to a few nail salons in Mississauga and, after trying out Century a couple years back, I have not been anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly. Other places the employees only speak to each other, never to you, and often feels like they're talking about you. All the ladies at Century are super friendly, make it a point to converse with you and remember your name. As for my nails, they're always on point :) Never been disappointed once. Read Less

Great first experience! Mani + Pedi The foot tub was nice and warm the estatition I had was very gentle the massage chair was great the staff is very friendly and they were not yelling over top of each other talking to one another they were actually interacting with their clients which is refreshing! They have spa like music very relaxing environment. They also seem to have a lot of regulars which is a good sign! They had 6 pedi chairs and 6 manicure stations which is nice because it is not overly crowded but I would suggest calling ahead to make sure they can accomodate you. Read Less

Absolutely love this salon! The manicurists speak English and chat with the customers during their appointment, and everyone is friendly and makes you laugh. Century nails on Argentia Rd has been under new management for 2 months. I have very high expectations when it comes to nails and I was beyond impressed. The staff were friendly, accommodating and had such an attention to detail. i ended up not loving the length of my biogel nails, so I came in the next morning and they adjusted it to my liking, no questions asked. I adjusted it due to my indecision- not because of thei skill. They were nothing but nice and professional to me. Highly recommend! Read Less

I had gotten a Shellac manicure today and was serviced by Tracy. She did an exceptional job and was super gentle (yet thorough) whereas other nail salons have made me bleed because they are too aggressive in removing cuticles. She was super friendly as was the management as they have renewed their management recently. As for the quality, let's just say I've never tipped so well at a nail salon in my life!!! I had chosen white, and in my other experiences you would have to layer the shellac to get the colour vibrant and opaque. Today she had gone over the white until the colour was vibrant enough. I had done a nude colour at another salon and they refused to layer the shellac more than twice or else they would have to charge extra. This time I didn't even have to ask! The pedi was 25 mins-no massage, scrub, or even second coat. I left thoroughly disappointed. When receiving pedicures one gets used to having professionals speak Vietnamese-I have never experienced someone on speaker phone with workers shouting to respond while completing the service. The lack of service was totally not worth it! I advised the owner and she did not allow me to express my opinion and told me that I was wrong. This Nail Salon needs improvement. Be genuine in what you do.My experience: I went in for a Bio Gel fill and the job was rushed and sloppy. The french poorly put on and dried messy with a smudge finish. I politely paid and said thank you because these days it seems impolite in Canada to speak up for what you believe in and how you should be treated. However I still informed the Owner (who did my fill) about the sloppy look on my nails and she responded by rudely interrupting me numerous times saying that's not her fault that's just how it is with Bio Gel. I never could finish my concern or get a word in edgewise.Ladies this is no place to spend your money and time. Service and Craftsmanship was F. If they intend to stay open they seriously need to look at what they are doing and how they are treating their clients.
