Friendly enough service. I had a manicure with gel overlay. Was not impressed at all. I am not sure if she is in training when she applied the gel it got all over my fingers and under the nail. When I told her she tried removing the now hardened gel with her fingernail which was actually hurting my skin. Then she uses the rough side if the emery board to file the sides of the nail to remove the excess gel. I felt this was such an ordeal. I've been getting my nails done consistently at Beauty Lounge for almost 2 years now. I get shellac manicures and at times, shellac and regular pedicures. It is within walking distance from where I live and staff always make the effort to fit my request for an appointment in, even day of. The atmosphere is clean and warm, there if a TV and wifi and staff are always friendly. I would highly recommend Beauty Lounge. Read Less

Second time going to this place in the same year. . They are very detailed in what they do - trimming, shaping, filing... etc. Gel manicures last. But the location has a is a funky smell. I think it comes from the fish tank... I don’t see any water pumping through it... and I don’t think it’s been cleaned since my last visit. Read Less

I tried out this salon because it was within walking distance of my condo and I was considering regular visits. My first experience there for a mani-pedi was fine. Ashley did a good job and was very pleasant. I called for a second appointment a couple of months later, only to find that that Ashley was not available. Assured that any of the other ladies would do as good a job, I booked for 3 pm the following Monday afternoon. When I arrived, there was only one young girl answering the phone; no staff who could do a mani-pedi . I'm editing my last review just because my service the 2nd time was just pathetic. I paid $35 this time to get the manicure & shellac done, last time I didn't have the manicure and the nail artists kept saying you should really get a manicure to keep the cuticles in shape so your shellac would last longer. I pretty much paid them $12 extra to make my nail beds shatter, she was so brutal as if nails r always strong on everyone. I have sensitive nail beds which need to be taken care of gently. She even cut me in 2 of my nail cuticle area and I bled, no apologies ! Waited an hour to get my nails done, and had 2 different people work on me.. Horrible service, stay away from this place. Excellent service! Best pedicure I've had in a long time! I brought my 3 year old daughter to have a mani pedi and they treated her as they would any customer.
