My first visit at this spa, experience was very positive. I made a last minute appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. Staffs were extremely friendly and nice. I had a shellac manicure with Hailey and she was very good. Very fast and attentive. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Gave good suggestions for the choice of color that will match with the dress that I will be wearing for a wedding. Highly recommend. Read Less

Went home right after shelak manicure and started to get very itchy bumps on my thumbs (palm side) then it spread to the rest of my palms and over my fingers. This was my first visit at the Salon. I returned the next day to show them. The manager was very unsympathetic and didn't mind that I mentioned the rash had kept me up all night. She insisted it couldn't be from her UV light or cream and basically let me out. I own a business, I would never treat a customer like that. If not a compensation at least some sort of concern and empathy! This was my first and last visit! Read Less

This was my first time as a walkin at sandalwood! I have to say it was a really great experience! The nail technicians know what they're doing and do an amazing job! The pedicure was wonderful and really well done! You also get a bit of a foot and hand massage while they're working on your nails! The shellac manicure was really well done as well! I absolutely loved their customer service! The person that greeted me was really sweet and kind and she took the time to ask how I'm doing while my nails were being done! Sandalwood Spa is my new go-to spa. I went for a full leg and bikini wax with Clara, who is such a gem. Everyone was very friendly and Clara made me feel very comfortable considering I was laying on a table in my underwear lol she went above and beyond for service and honestly the price was super reasonable considering how great of a job she did! I have to admit that even though I do make choices based on great reviews,  I am usually just a little suspicious of consistently fantastic reviews. I'm happy to report that in this case, they are well deserved. Starting with the most important aspect,  the service itself,  it was fantastic. They took my long overdue for grooming feet and turned them into a thing of beauty! Moving onto the next most important aspect,  the customer service,  I can also honestly give 5 stars without question. Every single person there was lovely. They took care of my coat coming and leaving,  they offered us (my friend and I were catching up) tea , made sure we were able to sit beside each other throughout our visit, and didn't give us trouble for being a little chatty in the quiet area (sorry folks beside us!). All in all, very pleasant. Finally,  the atmosphere.  It has a lovely feel to the place. So many of these places are sterile and without warmth. Sandalwood doesn't feel like that at all. If I could wave a magic wand, the only upgrade I would make, besides making it closer to my home,  would be to increase the size. It's a little tight in there, but if I had been alone,  I likely wouldn't have registered it. In short,  or rather long in this case,  go. They are great. Read Less

Came here with a friend on a weekday and we got a beauty break 45 mins ($55 before tax). It was nice of them to call us the morning of to remind us of our appointment and to come early because parking is hard to find. When we walked in, I was a little underwhelmed because the place is really small. It's hard to do a review because this is my first time to a spa -- ever! But it was a nice experience and I was happy with the service!The facial was in a warm and tight room. It starting with breathing in some essential oils, then applied several different creams. Clara, my esthetician, informed me about my skin type as the session went on. She massaged my face, extracted some blackheads, applied hot towels on my shoulders, and at the end, she massaged my neck, shoulders and did an arm stretch. The massage was nice, I wasn't expecting that as part of a facial. I appreciate her talking to me and asking about the pressure and whether I was comfortable. I just wished I knew that she would tell me what she will be doing next before doing it as each step was a surprise (sometimes a shock as I didn't like the part with cloth covering the face).At the checkout, we were given roasted barley tea to hydrate -- nice thought.I felt refreshed after the session :) Read Less

Amazing place! My nails were in desperate need of some care (chipped nails, varied shape and length, etc). And I'm glad I came in for a manicure today. They were super busy, but Grace managed to fit me into a slot. I've always opt for a darker color nail polish, but today I wanted a light color for a change. Not sure which one to choose, I asked Grace for suggestions, and she picked a fabulous shade for me. The place was clean, and Grace was very friendly and had amazing skills. (I particularly love the mini-hand massage!) By the end of all the pampering, my nails look prim and perfect. This is by far the best manicure I've ever had. Love love love! Read Less
