For my daughters birthday I bought her a deluxe manicure and pedicure certificate. I was given a piece of paper with the purchase and product I bought. When going to book an appointment we could not find the voucher anywhere , we looked for days. I finally went to see Binh and explained the situation and asked her if she would kindly look up my purchase. ( as I did remember the day that it was purchased) She was quick to answer NO she could not and wouldn’t even attempt to help solve the situation . She told me that if she did honour it that I could just give away the voucher to someone else to use. For myself that was such an insult...considering she was close to a family member of mine and knew who I was. Unfortunately I am writing this review because she did not even consider the money I spent and now lost, her customer service is lacking and I want others to know. Even though a business is going well and your clientele return , to me customer service and addressing a situation and most importantly the happiness of the client is the key to a successful business, this tells a lot about you as an entrepreneur. It is ridiculous how they charge for gel nails. I asked for bio gel which was $45, but at the end they charged me $60 because of the polish and the length of my nails. I wanted coffin shape nails, but I got square shape nails. Also, I preferred them to be thin and natural looking, but I got them thick and bumpy. I sent them an email to see if it's possible to get them fixed, but received no answers, which was unexpected from a 4 star nail salon. Made an appointment for 9am and the staff was late. Showed the girl what I wanted done and she tried to say it was ombre but thankfully Binh was walking by and told her it wasn't. The girl got upset and started arguing with Binh in another language right infront of me but Binh stopped it and told me it was not ombre and there was no extra charge for it. The girl then proceeded to race through everything as if she had someone coming any minute now. She did a decent job on my feet however my fingernails were severely lacking. I did shellac on my toes but because of a terrible job at Nice One Nails in the Rio Can my fingernails were beyond short and super damaged so I went with acrylic nails. She did not clean my cuticles, she barely filed my nails (sides so as to prevent hangnails because as I just said I had super short nails), and she got glue all over mt fingers. The nails were lumpy and thick and I specifically asked her to make them a bit thinner but she didn't. She was only going to do one coat of polish and I stopped her saying it wasn't enough so she made a noise and did a second coat. She had no idea what rounded meant and so I had to show her what a rounded nail looked like. After she "finished" my nails she never checked to make sure they were smooth and as I waz about to leave I went to push hair out of my face and caught myself with a sharp part of the nails and had to go back and get her to file them all down again. I've always loved my experience at Luxury Nails, everyone is very sweet and welcoming!! Lee my Nail Tech is the absolute best, I always try to book with him however if I end up with a different tech the experience is always great! They also do a great job at eyebrow waxing!!! Yesterday 9/12 I went to have a mani pedi done and a eyebrow wax. While my wax was AWESOME the guy who did my mani pedi was not very professional. Upon getting in the chair to get my pedi he tells he is on the phone with customer service and can't disconect (he had head phones in). I didn't know the situation and while I was a bit bummed about it I said "Okay that's fine." Turns out he was talking with Apple Customer service. He cussed at them once and was quite loud. I am 34 weeks pregnant and I honestly never have time to get pampered because I still work and have a 2 year old son so having this happen when I'm wanting to relax really did bother me. Everyone around me either had or was asked if they wanted a drink and I was not. I left pretty bummed and when I have time to do get a mani pedi I will choose else where. Read Less

Wasn't impressed with the service. I asked for UV gel square nails, thin. The girl who did my nails made them bigger than my natural nails, did a terrible paint job, uneven, crooked & bumpy. She also cut me several times and tried to use a dusty towel to wipe it. Very unsanitary. She also set the gel way too high up so when I walked out the nails looked grown out already. Overpriced for the quality. The owner seems to do a great job, all the people who booked her had a beautiful result. Wouldn't reccommend unless you have have an appointment with the owner. Read Less

Got my nails done at this place for the first time and it was horrible! My nails have been on for a week and ones already cracked and they hurt so bad. While the girl was doing them she hit my finger with the electric file and took skin off, I would never recommend them to any family, friends, or anyone!!!! Read Less

Read the reviews which were mostly very high, booked an appointment and went. Once I got there the salon was fairly empty.. Sat down with one of the ladies and she asked what I wanted. I originally wanted acrylic but I was talked into getting bio gel. Once she started I could tell she wasn't using the bio gel she was using uv. So I asked her she said " No no next time". So I went with it. She didn't ask the nail length she just cut them pretty short which was not wanted. I let that go and she filled really aggressively ripping skin and my cuticles. The nails are uneven in length. Some are round and some are square. The manicure was 2min because she was going to attend to another client. Didn't pay much attention to what she was doing. More interested in talking on the phone and telling me to wait while she called her friend back. Therefor Nails are bumpy and French is very uneven. Not impressed with 55$ charge too. Read Less

My top concern at a nail place is cleanliness. Here they are very clean and pay a lot of attention to detail. They have a great colour selection and do a good job. The staff seem to like their jobs and they really try to make it a good experience for the customer. My schedule is always changing so I am usually a walk-in... they can accommodate me about 60% of the time when I just show up. They are busy because they are good. It is worth paying extra for the free-hand flower designs. They are very intricate. Read Less
