Walked in today (early Wednesday afternoon) and was seen immediately. I had never tried SNS nails but all my friends told me it was healthier for your nails so I gave it a shot. Vanessa let me take my time picking some colors and did an amazing job doing ombré (with glitter!). All my friends had only seen/gotten ONE color before so I was very impressed that I could get ombré. Vanessa did an incredible job- her attention to detail was really amazing! She even explained the process to me because I was curious. She didn't talk much but I'm one of those people who would rather relax completely than make small talk so I was fine with this. I have been to this place numerous times, and never had an issue with it. I actually drive 30minutes to go here. I have never had an issue with anything until today. I went to pay with a gift card I was given for graduation and the woman who did my pedicure meet me at the resister to collect payment​; i told her I wanted to leave a tip on the card as well. She proceeded to give herself a $10 tip without asking me how much I wanted to give her or giving me a slip to fill in tip like other establishments. I was a server before so I know all about tips and am definitely for giving generous tips where they are deserved. However her giving herself a 30% tip without first confirming with me is horrible. Had to find a new salon since my last one closed. Tips & Toes was highly recommended. I'm very particular with my nails, esp with my challenging toes. But the owner, Kenny, and the staff were very welcoming. Crystal did my gel nails and Lynda did my pedi. Both ladies were fantastic!
