I have been going to see Kathy for more than a decade :) she knows my style and she knows how to do my eyebrows the way I like them. Waxing is always done clean. Her staff are friendly and amazing, always offering if we want something to drink as well :) kathy is always willing to go to work early or stay late if you need something done for an event. When in to get a refill I already had my nails the shape I wanted. Told the lady not to touch the shape she totally changed it from what I wanted . And I had my natural Nails growing out so they had a very nice length to them and she filed all my natural nails off from underneath ! Not impressed. And never going back . Read Less

Came to get my nails done for my dad's funeral, so was already having a pretty rough day and it wasn't busy when we came in they started my friends nails and then they started mine. Another lady walked in with no appointment as I heard them ask her if she did. I am assuming she's a regular because she wanted the lady who was doing my nails to do her house. They started saying they'll just come back another day. So the lady doing my nails litterally stops with one nail glued on and tells me to wait five minutes and goes and starts the other girls nails. Which was downright rude.. That's basically telling me I'm less of an importance than the girl who walked in and then five minutes goes by noones coming my friend said something still noone another ten minutes goes by and someone finally comes at that point I decided I was getting them to take the one nail off... She tried to convince me to stay but I was way to unhappy the second lady who was going to do my nails was apologizing but the girl who originally started them didn't say sorry once. I walked out waited them to finish my friend (she walked out without them painted) and they were apologizing to her except the one who did the wrong. My go-to nail salon! I get shellac done here every two weeks. It's $17 for just shellac polish and $22 for a shellac manicure. Most of the ladies - and the one guy - do a fantastic job! Parking can be a little tough in the small lot outside. Read Less

Not impressed. I did not enjoy my time there as it was cramped and stuffy, the girls where rushing and very rough. It was painful to get a manicure and I'm pretty sure that's not whats supposed to happen. No hand massage no soak just grinding and sanding and burning. Also no one could speak English so I got more than what I wanted because they wouldn't listen when I told them no, just paint my nails I don't want acrylic. Might be cheap but the work was also cheap. A nail was already ruined before I left, had to get it touched up and another on was ruined and hour later. I do not recommend this place at all. Ok first of all me and a friend went there wit pictures of how we want our nails done just different colors so they said yes yes we can do it and it really wasn't a hard design and they messed them up they didn't match tha picture at all and they definitely over charged due 2 a fill is not tha price of a full set and it said design is 5 but sum how cost more very disappointed will not go bak there and they do not listen as I asked 4 my nails 2 be glued underneath and they fully didn't wanna do it and still didn't do it so very unhappy so due 2 this experience we will not return !!! I have been to a million nail salons and this one tops the cake. I live in south ga and when I'm up in Gainesville I make sure I stop. They are super clean and friendly. I've never had a bad experience. Please respect these professionals this is not a quick service.. They take there time to be the best and make sure everyone is happy. Been to many places to get my nails done in the city. I will only go to Kathy's now. The owner always remembers my name and anyone else who walks in who's been there before. I call ahead but there are always walk-in's ( if you are walking in it can be a half hour wait) and they always do an amazing job. It's clean, pedicures are consistently done with a massage and my toe nails last up to a month. They are great at designs and even do the full pumice stone and get rid of my callus's. Every time I get a shellac manicure with designs and it's not sloppy or rushed. Highly recommend! Read Less
