Me and my sister went in for acrylic sets. Mine was a fill and hers was a full set. My sister made it very clear that she did not want shellac nail polish and just wanted normal nail polish as she changes the colour a lot and it's not worth her getting shellac. The nail tech said that it wasnt shellac and said it would be $45, my sister than asked why? And she said it was for acrylic. My fill was $25 + $5 for shellac & + tax came to $33.90. So the numbers weren't adding up. We thought she made a mistake. So after my sisters nails dry we go up to pay and the lady says its $45 for shellac. My sister then says she didn't want shellac & I mention that she grabbed the nail polish off of a different wall. The lady then says its tax, a full set is supposed to be $30, $15 in tax ? The two nail tecs then speak amongst each other and the lady at the till says oh its because its bio gel. The lady doing my sisters nails never said anything about bio gel and the prices on the wall dont make sense for it to be bio gel. My sister pays and we leave. I've been here a few times and always had so-so experiences. They always take me as a walk-in and I leave with my nails looking nice, but I find they are a bit more expensive than other local shops. I got mine done today and two of my acrylic nails are not straight. I asked the lady to fix it and she said she didn’t have the time and complained the entire time because I had one lifting. WOULD NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND!! My friend and I tried this place for the first time a week ago as the place we really like was busy. We both got pedicures and I as well got solar nails.We both opted for getting shellac. Its been just a little over a week and my toes are super chipped and peeling. I bought a gift certificate for my niece for Christmas and was told she could use it in another store. HOWEVER THAT IS NOT TRUE. She tried to use it in another salon and was told it could only be used where purchased It. I had been told that in the first place I wouldn't have bought it. NOT HAPPY!!! Read Less

I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. I was extremely unhappy. The girl was very rough and did a terrible job. My nails were all long and even because I had been getting regular manicures so they would be nice for my wedding but the girl hacked them off and make them all uneven. To make it worse the shellac is uneven and there are bubbles in it. There is shellac all over my cuticle. I wish I stuck with my regular nail salon but the wedding party wanted to go as a group and we ended up here. Terrible mistake. I am not one to write bad reviews. I just went to get my nails done for my wedding and it was the worst manicure I've had in my life. They look terrible. There is shellac all over my cuticle and bubbles in the shellac. My nails were long and even and she hacked them off and made them uneven. She was very rough. I will have to get them redone. I wish I could post a picture of how bad they are. I can not believe the service I got here today. The first person I had pushed shellac on me when I repeatedly said I didn’t want it, finally I said yes just to have the girl stop bugging me. The second girl I had was extremely rude, not speaking a word to me and instead of asking me to switch hands, wacking my arms to get me to move. I was there with my friend and her technician was very sweet and quick. The salon was busy so they rushed us out and the polish on my toes smudged to the point that I have had to remove it altogether at home. It looked absolutely horrible. It’s not like its summer and I can wear flip flops home, I had to put my shoes on in order to leave. I paid $60 for bad service and even worse product. I will NEVER return to this place. Beware! They shouldn't even get 1 star, they are terrible. The lady doing my nails told me that the prices listed on the wall were wrong and charged me more. They use dull nail clippers that rip your nails so they end up jagged and uneven. I've been to many nail salons and have never had any problems. Had a horrible experience here! Staff are unprofessional and rude ushering you to the nearest palate to pick a colour and rushing you through the process. Colour palettes are old and the colours have changed. I picked a light pink but when she brought the bottle over it was a neon pink.I asked to clarify if it was the right colour I was informed it was and told "the palates are old". The girl doing my nails then proceeded to talk to another girl in an another language mocking me for questioning the colour difference. When my nail got smudged she repeatedly made her frustrations clear. Before my manicure was over I was already being kicked out of my seat and told they would finish up while I was in another seat. Went here based on a recommendation from a classmate of mine who ALWAYS has beautiful nails. Personally, I am not one for extravagant nail art and opted for gel nails/ a french manicure.I am very, very impressed with the service and the atmosphere of the place. Went with my mother ... felt rushed .. my mom's nails are not even ... I have no paint on my nails on one side .. they didn't ask us to wash our hands at all.. any other nail place we went to they have always asked us to wash our hands.. they push other products on you that u don't want .. seemed they always rushed. . To busy with other people.. I had the demeal used on me..but not my mother ... they didn't ask us if we wanted a different type .. she didn't tell us that there was a charge for white tips .. there prices were good .. but I went from 30 .. to 80 dollars within minutes and didn't know about it till the end..
