I would not recommend this place whatsoever. Sanitation is terrible, the technician next to me folded over a towel filled with nail clippings and proceeded to use it for her client's manicure. I came in for a gel manicure and they clipped my cuticles all the way down until I bled which has never happened to me before. Finally I came in with a photo of a simple design and they assured me that they could reproduce it, my manicure looked NOTHING like the photo. My Farther in law came here yesterday thinking that it would be a great experience for him and some relaxation would ensure. However, it was a problem from the moment he got there. From his hair cut and beard trim, to the painful pedicure he experienced it was a nightmare. He had to walk Jennifer through his specifics on his haircut (which still confused her) then had to walk her through the beard trim. The manicure left bits of his nails and was not a great experience. Now l...et’s fast forward to the pedicure . This is where it got awful. When Jeniffer went to take the pumice stone she did it to the top of his foot and severely scraped/cut it. Then proceeding to not notice what she did place the exfoliating scrub and hot towels making the situation worse. This is the ONLY place I get my nails done. I have tried other places and the results are not comparable. I usually get gels and they are expertly applied. Not only do they grow out smooth, so it is not an emergency if you can't get in right away, but they are contoured to make my nails look more glamorous. I read a review below saying her nails didn't last and I have to wonder why she didn't just go back? The policy is that they will fix a nail that is not OK. After breaking one, I usually just pop in and they fix it no questions, no charge. Even if I broke it trying to pry something open! Finally have found a good nail salon in Guelph!I walked in without an appointment and didn't have to wait at all. The ladies who worked there were VERY nice and polite, which I respect a lot. I was not pushed to purchase services, and the prices are very decent. The colour selection is not the biggest, but definitely adequate. I got a shellac mani which was done very well and carefully. The lady was very gentle and applied three coats of colour, which helps it stay on longer usually. I will definitely be coming back regularly! Read Less

Every time I go it gets a little worse. Will not be returning anymore. They take on too many clients so they are rushed and end up doing a bad job. The only time you get a good job is when it's slow. The owner is actually the worst at nails, she was doing me and another girl at the same time once. Her husband I think? Did it the next time, he was really rough and my nails are uneven and he didn't give it enough time to cure or coats of shellac. There's prints on half my nails. They definitely do not sterilize let alone clean or replace nail instruments between clients either. Read Less

Had a groom's party here. Great experience. There was a good amount of things to do: golf, "putt-skee", darts, and corn-hole outside. They even went out of their way and ordered and picked up lunch for us from a nearby restaurant. Would recommend this for any groom's day-of festivities. Read Less

Absolutely wonderful staff and very well priced. They actually build the nail with bio gel rather than use powdered gel as a base. A friendly team that offered useful advice and took great care in removing the shellac nails I had done previously. Very patient and I enjoyed being there. Walked in and was greeted immediately, quick and friendly service. The ladies were lovely and even could tell right away that my last nails were done somewhere else. My gel looks great and nice manicure, only critique is i didn't get a chance to look at them and ask for corrections. I took my teenage son there to get a haircut after seeing someone else's hair and asking them where they go. Shelley gave my son the hair cut he wanted, explained and guided him in how to style it, and gave him some other tips. I am confident that my son will get a great cut every time with her. Leslie gave me the best hair cut I've had in quite some time. Maybe years. She was the first person to trim my beard besides my wife. The wife absolutely loved it. I never felt rushed like I have at most other places. The atmosphere is great. If you are a man that just wants a great hair cut and experience you have to go at least once. The staff here are wonderful! I came in from another nail salon in town hoping I would get better results and they delivered! I chose a difficult colour for my shellac manicure, and she did as many coats as were needed to make it opaque! (I had previously visited JD nails on Silvercreek and the tech did 2 streaky coats and blamed my colour choice for the poor coverage) The atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly. I went here with my 2 sisters and 1 sister in law. We made an appointment for 1030am since we had a whole day of other things planned (it was my birthday weekend). First of all, when my sister booked the appointment, the lady (we're guessing is the owner) says "don't sleep in, don't be late" ... seriously, who says that! So we show up at 1025am to find the place FULL of little kids getting their nails done. Every station was occupied, all the staff were occupied. By the time they got to us it was almost 11am. So much for the owner telling US not to be late!!!! On top of that, all 4 of us got started at different times, so we didn't even get to have the experience together. Their color selection of polishes was very very very poor. They didn't even have any nude colors, which I tend to lean towards. It took us awhile just to choose the colors we wanted because nothing stood out to us.After my lady finished my pedicure, she did my whole manicure while I was still sitting at the pedicure station. This is the first time this has ever happened to me, and it was very awkward. Her manicure station was open, so not sure why she didn't take me over there. I was very confused. So finally comes the cherry on top of this whole experience. OUR NAILS WERE ALL DONE TERRIBLY!!! The polish wasn't even smooth, there were bumps and lines in them, kind of like when you do your nails before going to bed and you wake up to a disaster. They didn't shape them properly, all the edges were sharp. So we walked out with crooked, sharp, messy nails. Very unsatisfying. My one sister had random glitter bits in her nails, and her polish wasn't even sparkly. I guess you get what you pay for. The mani and pedi together was only $38 --- if you pay cash they don't charge tax. I would rather pay more and go somewhere else.Also, any walk in that came in was told "10 minutes" when the wait was easily no less than 30 minutes.Save yourself and go somewhere else. Read Less
