Ana's nail techs always do a great job when it comes to their gel nails. I'm sure they do an amazing job with all other services because they're always busy. I've gotten my nails done three times now and the girls are always very kind and patient. I suggest making an appointment because walking in for work will be far and few between. Also, pick up one of their loyalty cards, after seven visits you get to pick a free service. Mani, eyebrow tint or a 15 minute hand/foot massage. It’s a nice clean place, and very busy which is a good sign. I got a Deluxe pedicure which included a hot stone massage on my feet and lower legs... it was heavenly. The only reason for giving four stars is that the staff were snickering and laughing in their own language amongst themselves. Even whispering into each other’s ears and giggling. I know you will get this to a certain degree in most of these types of nail shops, but with such good reviews here already and a good reputation, I would have expected a level of professionalism. This is the best place to go if you want your nails done well. Staff is friendly, competent and the location is very clean. They go the extra mile to ensure instruments used are sterilized properly. I am always pleased with the service here. Recommend booking an appointment ahead of time since it seems like they are always busy, no matter what time of day. They have a great selection of shellac and non shellac colors. I appreciate that they have a receptionist dedicated to booking and scheduling the appointments. The place is very clean and they always take their time on my nails. Rushed job skin still all rough on the bottom as if I didn't just get a pedicure waited 45 minutes for polish to try and still smudged all over when I got home.. was put on way too thick.. they talk about u as if you don't understand what there saying.,. I attended here for the first time after reading great reviews online and I was not disappointed.  On a Thursday afternoon, the place was packed and they weren't sure if they would be able to fit me in, so I highly recommend calling in advance and booking a time.  The salon was clean, the staff wear uniforms, and all were very friendly. After paying, a staff member approached me (maybe she was the owner?) and asked if it was my first time there and if I was pleased with everything; I appreciated that.  As for my nails, I had a simple shellac manicure done, without any complaints.  Oh!  Ample, free parking, which is a bonus. Small, clean, recently renovated place, ample parking in a plaza, does not have an overwhelming chemical smell. Came here with an appointment where 5 of us got pedi's done. I liked the fact that they used a plastic covering over the foot bath - gave me a piece of mind that Id be less likely to catch some foot bug. This is a review for Ana's Nail Boutique on Bloor St, by Islington. It's their second location, but I can't seem to find a Yelp page for that location - maybe because it's a newer one. Anyway, I live in the area and have been to basically every nail salon between Kipling and Royal York. Since I found Ana's Nail Boutique a little while back, I will not go anywhere else. I've had a few pedicures, shellac nails and eyelashes done here, and every service has been great. Ana gave me beautiful eyelash extensions that lasted about a month, even though I came to her with pretty short and sparse lashes after I ended up with a lot of eyelash loss from a previous set I got somewhere else. Kimmy gives the best pedicures I've ever had in my life. Besides that, it's spacious, clean and has a nice atmosphere. No strong product smells like you get in a lot of smaller salons and it's generally quiet and relaxed. Love this salon! Read Less

I went here for a mani pedi with my sister and grandma before our trip and was less than impressed by the customer service. It first started when I asked if I could get shellac and they told me there was not enough time (I was a little late, I admit but my sister was getting gel nails which take much longer than shellac), so I agreed to normal nail polish. While the pedi was your typical run of the mill pedi, I was most shocked when I asked to have a design on my toes and was told no. When I asked, the two girls discussed for about 3 minutes in another language before the one girl said "she doesn't want to do it". Once I was sitting at the dryers, the second girl said "the girl who can do that isn't in" when the discussion was clearly about her not wanting to do it. We still waited for my sisters nails for 15 minutes after my grandma and my pedi's were done while the other girls swept and moped around us. We left 10 minutes before they closed and felt rushed out and unsatisfied. With the amount of competition in this category, I would not recommend this place or go here again. Finally, a new nail salon in the area! This is definitely now my go-to place to get my nails done. In this busy plaza, Ana's Nail Boutique is a new and beautifully renovated salon. Its really gorgeous on the inside, but it is a bit small. I made a mistake of not going with an appointment, and it was totally packed inside and I had to wait quite a while to have my turn. No issues though. I wish they had a bigger option of colours. Its usually busy on friday and saturday evenings. Its a lot more serene to go when there are less people. They also have wifi, you must ask an employee for the password. Overall a great new spot! Read Less
