Terrible! I am very disappointed with the service! I asked nail tec to change color of shellac as it looked so messy, you could see some left overs from 2 previous visits on my nails which was black and red, I simply asked for French and expected it to be clean with no other colors on my nails.The tec I don't remember his name, skinny yonge guy started giving me attitude and it made me feel very uncomfortable.he rejected to provide me survice further and I was devastated how unprofessional they were.. I came to get my nails done before veld music festival 2017 .. and a lot of the workers were just sitting around talking to each other. Meanwhile, I was getting my nails done and my friend was waiting to have hers done. She ended up getting hers done by the same lady as me right after. Quality of the nails are pretty good, I got acrylic with shellac. I originally asked for a specific colour, but they didn't have it so they used a very similar light pink colour. I also asked for almond shape but they gave me squarish coffin shaped, because I wanted them shorter. Overall 3/5 because service was slow but everyone was nice and quality of nails are pretty good. I just moved up to the area and have been getting my nails done downtown so I was really nervous trying this place out. My gel nails had seen better days and the nail tech had to remove them. Luckily my nails underneath were in great shape. The nail tech did an awesome job and gave me a beautiful French shellac manicure. He was fast and efficient.I also opted to have a regular pedicure. The same nail tech did my pedi. Again he was fast and I am happy with the result.I would have liked to see the equipment come out of the sanitizer but this wasn't a deal breaker. Been going for years, always do a great job! Tip: call a day ahead or so for an appointment, as they are ALWAYS busy and usually cant accept walk-ins right away. I get shellac manicures and pedis and they last a long time. Cant review the nail art or false nails as I havent had those done. Read Less

This location is relatively new. While it didn't exactly stand out from the other salons, I was happy with my experience! My friend and I got shellac, and they did both our nails completely in under 30 minutes. This was great since we were on our lunch break! The gentleman who serviced me (dirty minds, get your head outta the gutter) was friendly and made light, friendly conversation. They are VERY detail oriented and every time I look at the shellac placement neat my nail beds I'm just in awe at house quick, yet precise he was.It was my first time doing shellac and he took me through every step, seemed very knowledgeable.  For sure if they keep being quick and doing good work I'll go back for more shellac colourings! I completly agree, this place sucks! Does not even deserve ONE star. The girl that did my nails, one of the owners named Christina, does a terrible job. I know this was not just a one time mistake because my friend has got her before and she did a terrible job then too. The other staff there noticed she botched the nails and even said something to her and she just brushed them off. This place is terrible. I also do not recommend you throw any parties there! I brought a very large group to the salon and when they initially gave me a quote the other owner said they would give me a deal and not charge me tax. However AFTER the nails were done, my $400 quote turned to $800 because they upsold all my friends and did not tell them about the extra costs! And they charged me tax! My friends wouldn't have known the services cost more because they have never gone to a salon before. What's more, is when I spoke to the the owner that originalky promised a deal, she said there is nothing she can do because she has a business to run and I owe what I owe.
