I have been going to Spa Contessa for 10 years with my daughter. She was nine when we received our first pedi/mani and after this visit she was hooked. Dina and Janet treated us with professionalism from the start. To this date it’s the only spa my daughter and I attend. We are regulars and they treat us with kindness and care. They make us feel like VIP clients and we are always pleased with the service we receive. The spa is kept clean and comfortable and getting an appointment is never a problem. I recommend them completely. Thanks for 10 great years.

I have been going to this spa for over 5 years after a friend recommended them to me. From the first time I went there the owners and long term staff have always remembered and recognized me when I come in. They are also very accommodating when I make last minute appointment requests. I go to Posh Contessa for manicures and pedicures (shellac and regular) sometimes with paraffin treatments. I have also had eyebrow waxing, a facial and eye lash tint/perm. I have always been happy with the services I have received.
They are very friendly and professional without being a silent snooty cone of silence like some of the higher priced day spas in the area. Some people like that sort of atmosphere, but if you prefer a relaxing human experience like I do then Posh Contessa is the place to go!
I definitely recommend this spa!
Don’t let a few bad reviews deter you from trying out their services. Most people who have a great experience don’t bother to post reviews so I would say the few negative reviews are definitely not the norm.

This place is absolutly horrible. DO NOT GO HERE.
My mother went in to get a ped mani while i was getting a treatment at imbur after i had surgery. And she fell on wet floor on her tailbone and wrists. There were no signs. Sprained her wrist and they never even gave her money back. THEY MADE HER PAY FOR THE SERVICE? we spent the rest of the afternoon in emerge. And a customer had to ask for ice. They said they had none. HORRIBLE PEOPLE STAY AWAY.......

Ever since policy changed at my work about two years ago, and we were permited to wear nail polish/gel nails I have been coming to posh contessa. I have only wonderful things to say not only about the owners but all the staff who are employed there. They are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I get numerous compliments on my nails, and are often asked where I get them done. I would recommend their services to anyone.

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I normally just get a shellac manicure but a few of my nails had broken off so I got them to put tips just on 3 of them so they would all match. It was awful. The job was rushed and then I left all of the gel tips were separating from my actual nail and the gel was waaay too thick and warped looking. I called and asked for a refund describing my experience and after arguing with the owner for an hour, I went back in to get them fixed. And again, the gel was way too thick and didn't match the rest of my nails. When I got the previously done nails removed my nails were destroyed and I normally have very strong healthy nails. I would not recommend to anyone. They're snooty and provide a horrible service.

I had a gift card given to me for my big 40 birthday. I was able to get my mani/pedi and facial all on the same day I called. 😊 I understand they can't always have a massage therapist on call so I was able to redeem the massage later in the week. Jaime stood out to me she, gave a great massage an a super mani/pedi. I am sorry I do not remember who gave me the facial but it was also superb . It is unfortunate that this place received a bad review. Everybody can have a bad day and if I was unhappy I would go directly to the manager to allow them to rectify the situation.
Online reviews that are negaive are not helpful. lt is unfortunate if you have a bad experience when you are supposed to be relaxing or decompressing from this busy lives we lead. But I think we need to show compassion to those that have the gift of healing/ pampering and remember these people are people with busy lives possibly kids and life problems also, not robots that should be expected to be perfect every day.
I hope others will have an Amazing Experience at Posh!

Bought a gift certificate for my wife for a surprise gel manicure and posh pedicure. She rarely has her nails done. When she arrived, they had no idea what to do and had to "figure out" what services she had based on the dollar amount on the gift card. Fine.....except they were wrong and gave my wife attitude because they hadn't booked enough time for the service and charged her $5+hst. Pedicured nails were OK but they were rushed. Foot massage was rushed until the girl found out she didn't have to do the manicure then her attitude came around. My wife then explained what she wanted for her manicure and was told by Jeanette that she wouldn't do that particular style because it's "only for models and not for someone who does housework and dishes". The cuticles weren't prepared and was when asking about design, was only offered to have sparkles on one nail. The gel nails were completed, however they were sloppily done and too thick. Then, was charged an extra $20 for the gel nails that I had already paid for. Grand total $143 plus tax and tip for a mediocre Mani/Pedi and attitude.
Will not return and will tell others to avoid

Great place for gel nails. They've always been very accommodating and professional. I found the salon to be very clean. I've been to quite a few salons (the whole spectrum, - mall shops to high end spas) and after a few visits to Posh Contessa, I would say it is definitely a WAY better experience than the mall salons but more affordable/less time consuming than the spa. I find the quality and attention to detail to be very consistent. The ladies have always been welcoming/friendly and they have great service; I chipped/broke one of my tips shortly after my appointment and they fixed it for me with zero hassle.

I have been going to Spa Contessa for 10 years with my daughter. She was nine when we received our first pedi/mani and after this visit she was hooked. Dina and Janet treated us with professionalism from the start. To this date it’s the only spa my daughter and I attend. We are regulars and they treat us with kindness and care. My mother went in to get a ped mani while i was getting a treatment at imbur after i had surgery. And she fell on wet floor on her tailbone and wrists. There were no signs. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I normally just get a shellac manicure but a few of my nails had broken off so I got them to put tips just on 3 of them so they would all match. It was awful. The job was rushed and then I left all of the gel tips were separating from my actual nail and the gel was waaay too thick and warped looking. I called and asked for a refund describing my experience and after arguing with the owner for an hour, I went back in to get them fixed. I had a gift card given to me for my big 40 birthday. I was able to get my mani/pedi and facial all on the same day I called. 😊 I understand they can't always have a massage therapist on call so I was able to redeem the massage later in the week. Jaime stood out to me she, gave a great massage an a super mani/pedi. I am sorry I do not remember who gave me the facial but it was also superb . Bought a gift certificate for my wife for a surprise gel manicure and posh pedicure. She rarely has her nails done. When she arrived, they had no idea what to do and had to "figure out" what services she had based on the dollar amount on the gift card. Fine.....except they were wrong and gave my wife attitude because they hadn't booked enough time for the service and charged her $5+hst. Pedicured nails were OK but they were rushed. Foot massage was rushed until the girl found out she didn't have to do the manicure then her attitude came around. Great place for gel nails. They've always been very accommodating and professional. I found the salon to be very clean. I've been to quite a few salons (the whole spectrum, - mall shops to high end spas) and after a few visits to Posh Contessa, I would say it is definitely a WAY better experience than the mall salons but more affordable/less time consuming than the spa. I find the quality and attention to detail to be very consistent. The ladies have always been welcoming/friendly and they have great service; I chipped/broke one of my tips shortly after my appointment and they fixed it for me with zero hassle.
