NEVER EVER EVER GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. I asked for almond shaped nails and was given pointy claws. I asked the technician to then round them out and he said no that's what I asked for. Then he proceeded to yank my arm everytime he was grabbing my other hand to finish my nails. Also there was no manicure done even. My cuticles were not touched and I did not receive a manicure at all. My friend was with me and got chrome nail polish and was charged $45 and all they did was apply the polish. Have been coming to this place my mom and I for the last 2 1/2 years! From eyelashes exentions with Christine, to getting bio gel nails, manicures and pedicures with all the amazing girls! If you are looking for immaculate and totally unique nails, this is the place to go!! Julie is insanely good and I would recommend her to anyone! From chrome to foil or design, she can do it all. I also have my lashes and brows done with Christine and she is hands down the best! My lashes take 45 mins tops and are super full all the time. Nail Experts and Spa was recommended to me through a friend. I usually stick to my one Salon (HT Nails) who always does an amazing job. I decided to try something new even though they are 30min away from me. Once I got my nails done from Sophie, I was very pleased with the results. Once i got home i noticed bubbling in BOTH my thumbs and one of my middle fingers. I was little annoyed seeing as i paid around $80 for my nails (i paid for a certain design). I told myself i would... ignore it because the business was just too far to drive back to. A few days later the actual bio gel colouring peeled off my thumbs and left me with no colour leaving my with a smeared nail. I called the company back and they agreed to redo only 2 of my nails (my two thumbs). I drove all the way back to burlington to to get them fixed, ONLY to have the thumb bubble again the same night. Everytime I go in everyone is so friendly. I have been going there for the past 2/3years and have never had an issue that they didn't fix as soon as I brought it to their attention. If I'm not happy with the results they will fix them right away. They accommodate everyone that walks in the door whether they had am appointment or not as soon as they can. Christine is my go to girl but if she's not available I either see Julie or Kim. Or if I'm just in for a pedicure Vanessa is awesome. But I trust anyone in there. It was my first time to do biogel nails. I had watched videos on how it was done. The women who did them did a very sloppy job. She put the gel on and didn't even smooth it out with the brush like its supposed to be done. Then, she sanded the nails which made them look like the nails of Dracula. Biggest mistake ever. I repeatedly told her please I just want one layer of biogel to make them look natural. She is oblivious to the customers requests and provides very poor poor quality. I would never go back. A very busy nail salon - take appointments and technicians were good with mani and pedi. However the surroundings dirty and disorganized on my last visit which will deter me from going back. Both my middle fingers were breaking so I went back not even a week later to fix them, they looked HORRIBLE when I left, so messily done and the woman was so rude and kept slapping my hand. It again, hasn't been a week and one just completely broke off so low that my fingers bleeding!!!!!!! Lisa saved me ❤️ I cannot give this place enough praise! I had gotten my nails done at polished nails and spa in Hamilton. The owner had put acrylic over my cuticles!!! I called in to nail experts and they got me in so quickly!!! She validated my concerns and gave me the best advice on what to do and how she could fix it. She didn't even hurt me at all!!! She's a magician I swear and I am so happy with my new nails I could cry with joy. Being a perfectionist this place is completely up my ally! Would not recommend this place. Got my nails done and asked for them a little shorter and she just cut them off without even asking me how short I wanted, I did not have time to get them re done then so I just left them. The design she did was not like the picture I showed her and my nails were all bumpy. When I called back and asked to have them re done because I did not like how they looked they claimed it was all my fault and they would not have me back in. Needless to say I am never going there again would not recommend they care about the workers more than their customer loyalty. They will not see me again that's for sure. Read Less

I normally love this place, but my last experience was...not great.  I'll give credit, I didn't have an appointment and they were busy, and they managed to squeeze me in, but that's where things went from good to WTF?I haven't had a manicure in ages, and I came in with very long, natural nails, with the exception that the two middle nails had broken the week earlier and were a third the length of the others.  They grow fairly square, which I'm not a fan of - I prefer an almond (not full stiletto), and is what the girls here normally give me with no problem - long and flattering.  So the guy doing my nails asks what I want - I say shellac, almond shape, keeping most of the length on all the other nails.  I said I didn't mind if the two middles nails were a lot shorter than the others, and asked he just try to get the shape as similar as possible.  He looks at me like I'm an idiot.  "Almond?" Yeah, like a pointy oval...almond shaped.  "They look pretty square now."  Yeah, that's why I want you to shape them.  "The other ones are really short".  Yeah, we discussed this; just do your best on those ones and we'll let them grow back.  He trims my cuticles, starts to shape them...I look down and he's cut half the length off the nails on one hand.  Bam.  At least a month's worth of growth, gone.  Great.  When I point this out, he says "Yeah, but the middle one is shorter".  Again, this shouldn't be news to you!  This is going great.  Well I guess now we have to do the same to the other hand.  Now I'm watching closely, and I notice he's leaving them LONGER on the other hand, so now they look extra weird.  Short and square one hand, longer and sorta oval other hand is a thing I hope.  When I point this out he says, and I'm not kidding, "you said you wanted them a different length; I'll have to trim them to match them up."  Pretty sure that's what I'm paying you for!  Then he says, "hey, you just tell me what you want."  Not only did I already do that, twice, I think we can all agree it's a little late now, champ.  My long natural nails are gone, and my fingers look short and fat with a manicure from a toddler.At this point I pretty much just leave my body, waiting for it to be over.  Could I have complained?  Sure, but you know and I know I would have come across as a jerk.  Besides, I had already made it pretty clear I wasn't happy.  Am I saying you should never come here?  No, Tammy, Kim & the other ladies are great.  But if one of the guys tries to do your nails, ask for someone else.The first photo is of my nails done at Nail Experts for a wedding (hence the bubblegum pink & insane rhinestones).  Those are my natural nails that they shaped and shellacked.  The second photo is my nails - which were longer than in the first photo when I came in - done just today, with the third photo a close up of my two index fingers.At least he got the colour right... I used to go to a place that charged me $25 for my set, $5 for a long set (my nails are usually VERY long) $10 for the shape (Which I didn't understand) and instead of having a fixed rate for Gel Polish with a set they charged me $30 for gel on top of my set. So all in all I would spend $70 for just my nails! I wouldn't be too thrilled with the work either, they'd break constantly and I'd be back in a week. This was the first nail salon I went to where I wasn't charged for every little detail of my nails! I LOVE Nail Experts and Spa! Everyone is extremely talented and meticulous and I always leave completely satisfied with my service. Prices are so reasonable as well! I have been getting "SNS dipping powder" on my nails for almost a year now at this amazing salon in Etobicoke (New Diva) but my technician wasn't available and I was in desperate need of the service.  I called dozens of places in the GTA with no luck and finally came across Nail Experts which confirmed they offered "dipping powder" nails. I was so excited that I had located a salon that offered the service and couldn't wait to try it out.  Today I drove 45min in the snow from Etobicoke to Burlington only to find out that they only carry 2 "dipping powder" options: a horrible beige colour or clear!!!??? To make things worse, it soon became evident that the technician barely knew about the product.  I asked her about the application procedure and she did not know about the 3 step technique, but I tried to keep an open mind and thought perhaps this powder was different and only required one step. I reluctantly let her try it on my pinky nail, but it soon became clear that this was not what I was expecting.  After apologizing several times, she removed the powder she applied to the one nail.  In an effort to salvage the appointment she tried offering shellac and biogel several time, but I refused to use any of the alternative options that require UV lamps. The whole point of switching to "dipping powder nails" is that they are organic and don't require UV exposure!  After wasting over an hour in the salon, I left with only clear polish in utter disappointment. I had my nails done by Tammy. She suggested I go the bio gel route to look more natural since I wanted the coffin shape. They turned out amazing. She took her time to make sure my nails were consistent and matched the length of both hands together. She made nice conversation and was very informative about the process. Speechless. This afternoon, I was calling salons looking to have a manicure and pedicure done. I called places in Hamilton who told me they were too busy. Then looked up best salons in Burlington and Nail Experts and Spa came up. I quickly read some of the reviews and was extremely pleased. I called and asked how much for a shellac mani/pedi and if they could get me in today. The super kind lady on the phone gave me the price and told me I can come right away. It seemed a l...ittle pricey to me but I said to myself "why not", something felt right to go today. This was the first time in about 10 years I've got a manicure and my first ever pedicure. Feet have always been my "weird" thing and it bothered me to have someone else touch my feet (haha, weird I know!) HOWEVER... as Christine (who is super sweet, by the way) was doing my manicure, I was telling her how nice it felt to do this for myself as it's been years and I don't ever really have the time or money since having children. As I was getting my pedicure, there was a lady paying and Christine told me the lady paid for my mani AND pedi... I was in complete shock. I am not often left speechless, but I was completely shocked. I would like to thank that beautiful lady, from the very bottom of my heart for doing such an extremely kind and generous thing. On top of things, i had some guy giving me a pedicure and i could totally tell that he has no clue what he was doing at all. I went few days ago as a walk in client. I asked for SHELLAC. This was my first time getting it down, therefore I didn't know what to expect. After I finished getting my nails done I went to the desk to pay she charged 35 dollars, when it is posted it was on 20. I don't know why this salon has scheduled appointments at all when they accept all walk-ins to the detriment of the scheduled ones! It's great that you wanna treat everyone equally, but if you have to many people-you just can't! I had an appointment for a mani, pedi and eyebrow shaping and I was practically rushed out the door. There were a lot of walk-ins and the place was really busy. After my mani and pedi were done they handed me the bill before I could say I had an eyebrow shaping too! After which I was so angry I didn't even want to stay there for longer than needed.I heard good things about this salon, that they do the best manicure in Burlington and I wanted a manicure that I cannot do myself. I chose a polka dot design which was not hard for a professional to accomplish. There were a few details, like not all fingers had the same size of dots and there was a little pink heart on each. The girl took a 2 second look at the photo and then proclaimed that she doesn't need to look at it anymore. I was a little impressed by that at first, thinking that this place is going to live up to its standard. But she just wanted to get me out of the chair faster. She did a terrible job of it! She did all the dots the same size in a random pattern (polka dot is not random!) and the hearts are more like pink blobs, there is one that kinda looks like a heart but that's all! My mani looks like my artistic teenage sister did it not a professional with a high reputation! I have to add, that a day after I posted this review, I received a phone call from the owner of the spa. He personally apologized for their mistake and offered me either to come back for another manicure on the house or to receive a full refund for the one I had. I've been getting waxed since I was 16, and I've got to say this place is the best I've been to! Downtown Toronto, Oakville, Mississauga and Hamilton don't compare. The esthetician went beyond above and beyond. She only charged me for what I came in for but waxed double the surface area then tweezed!! Clean, relaxing, and budget friendly.
