Walked into the salon and was told a shellac manicure was $40 when it's posted on their sign in-store for $30. When I questioned her about the difference in price she claimed to think I was looking for a pedicure, even though I specified manicure more than once... I then went to pick out my shellac nail colour and noticed they didn't even have shellac on the shelf so I got the feeling they may not always use the shellac nail polish but I'm sure they will charge you for it. I went to this location and the did a horrible job. They let the new guy do my nails and He did my acrylics so thin that after two days one had broken off. After 5 days 4 nails had broken so today I called and asked if I could come back and get them fixed for no charge and the lady said no. I told her that my nail had broke the day after I got them done and she said she didn’t care and if I wanted them fixed then I should have called when the first one broke, awful customer service.Read Less

Worst place ever!! My mom and I went to get our nails done for a special event. My mom picked something basic that she seen online and the lady said she couldn't do it so we picked one from the display they had. The lady then told my mom that the one she picked would be too busy for her nails and just made up art on her nails. The art she made up was more busy then the one my mom picked. Also my nails should have only been 25$ plus tax. She charged me 40$ and I have no nail art! She then asked me if I want a line of sparkle I said that would be nice! And friend and I went to get out eyebrows done and she messed up both of our eyebrows! One of my eyebrows is pointed at the top and the other is straight across! Guess I've learned to check reviews before getting my eyebrows done again. The worst place I have ever been. I get pedicures every 3 weeks. My feet were still wet while she was putting the colour on. The worst part was before putting The colour I simply asked her for her opinion between two shades of pink.. her reply was "Are you blind?" Their the same. Customer service was bad - they refuse to acknowledge their mistakes. Overall not happy with my nails both times I went. The nail on one thumb is shorter then the other nail on my other thumb. I went in happy and exited to get my eye brows done. It is a very important event which was a pageant. Then the lady did them and they came out two different eye brows didn't like them at all. I got home looked in the actually mirror had a melt down. Went back to the store crying, she tried to explain why she did it so thin when I wanted them thick. Tried to fix it, but she shaped them and I just wanted them cleaned up which I had told her from the start. Completely ruined and never have been so upset over eyebrows. It had ruined my entire day. Ubelievable customer service, I went in for a manicure and to have my toe nails painted. I then requested to have one toenail clipped, This older asian woman said to me in an extremely ignorante reply you will have to pay for a full pedicure, Ireplied that i just had a pedicure done the week prior. The asian woman said to me (YOU WHITE PEOPLE WANT EVERTHING FOR FREE) Itold her she a very bad attitude and i wanted the owners name phone number ,she refused to give me the information and proceeded to kick me out. The girls are super nice! The place is super clean and the do an excellent job. I've been to tons of nail salons and I have to say they are the best. The prices are REALLY good and unlike some of the other places in Brantford, they are quick and so gentle. You have to try Nails Island! Read Less

The salon is supper clean and luxury.The girls make my hands beautiful with uv gel nails. The spa pedicure chairs with massages are wonderful.There are many polish colors...I feel like a queen when I be there...love it! Read Less

they are terrible. the girl was too busy watching tv and totally messed up my nails. i got the uv gel nails done and my one nails slanted, when there is that white powdered bit under the nail, i asked if she was just going to leave that like that, and she gave me attitude and roughly grabbed my hand and scraped it off, after i said like, calm down that hurts, she wasnt even paying attention---again watching tv. super expensive,terrible job. dont go there. ever Read Less
