If you're looking for a professional manicure and pedicure that will last, you found the right place. I have been to many different salons but Nail Lounge has surpassed the competition through top quality. Pricing is par for the course, but the customer service is incomparable. The shellac manicure will actually last 2 weeks and does not ruin your nails like most places because they use a biogel undercoat. My daughter and I went today for the first time ever and both of us had pedicures. I was very impressed with the experience. The service was top quality. The girls did a great job and the owner is super-friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was obvious to me that customer service is top priority at The Nail Lounge. The staff was very very nice. They did a wonderful job on my pedicure and full set of nails. The salon was very clean and very nice looking on the inside. Awful experience! They don't deserve a one star! Have been going since it opened, used to be good but it is going downhill fast! Used to have good staff not anymore.  Went for manicure. Girl told me I couldn't have a white colour I picked because it gets dirty fast! Lady next to me was crying because girl told her her nails were too short. She was cutting her skin!!Just went for pedicure, fastest pedicure I've ever had! I have gone here a couple of times throughout the years and it has been great. My feet always turn out amazing so soft and they always spend time on them. Today was very different! The girl hardly spent anytime on getting the died skin off....maybe 2 mins...It was very rushed....everything was rushed. I had to come home and finish the job. I am surprised to see any negative reviews on here - this place is fabulous. I moved to Bowmanville in January and have had amazing service from The Nail Lounge consistently. It IS busy, but I feel like that speaks to their quality that so many people want to go there. The place is very clean and modern, and the staff are all hard working and wanting to ensure you are happy. If anything I feel bad for the team members here as some of the clientele could really use an attitude adjustment. You get what you give and if you come in with a friendly demeanor and patience, you will be rewarded with a really nice conversation and someone going above and beyond for you. The way I have witnessed various customers speak to some of the ladies that work here is embarrassing for our community. I commend the team for their dedication to keeping client satisfaction a priority despite how busy they are, how much and how hard they work and unfortunately how they are treated sometimes. I get a bio gel manicure with shellac which lasts me 3-4 weeks (my nails don't grow fast) and a pedicure every now and then. The price is very reasonable and competitive for our area. I love that they aim for a more upscale vibe and how attentive the owner (I'm sorry I forget your name!) is with things like offering coffee, water, taking your coat, etc. If you are considering visiting The Nail Lounge I definitely recommend that you do. I am disabled (Multiple Sclerosis), walk with a cane and have some challenges. The staff at Forever21 have always been gracious, attentive to my disabilities. I love that the pedicure tubs get a fresh plastic liner for each customer and that the tools used are taken from a fresh pack. The spa pedicure was absolutely heaven with three different soothing lotions, one to remove dead skin, a mask and then a wonderful mint, all with a very thorough massage of feet and calves. I th...en had a full set done with gel polish. While I don't really like gel polish, it has been three weeks since and not a chip on the polish. Going back today for a fill, will get regular polish this time since it is easier to change polish color between time. I would totally recommend Forever21 as your go to nail salon. The atmosphere was nice the workers were nice but the girl who did my toes didnt even give me a massage with lotion I asked her and she said oh you want one I said yes ive always get one with whom ever does my pedicure. She said I dont do that. Then she kept burning me with the machine and kept messing up on my nails but at end they turned out ok. I will go back just not with her. Will keep her name private. I have been going here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. My nails and toes always look great and I have never heard any of the employees be rude to anyone. I came in on 11/28/16 at 10am. I wanted a basic pedicure I told the gentlemen that, when I paid I was charged for a $35 pedicure on top of that he cut me with the scrapper, which I told the girl at the desk and she did nothing. I repeatedly told him I felt him cut me. I know accidents happen I just feel he did not take accountability at all, he kept insistent I did it which I told him I am pretty sure I would know it was there and I felt the scrapper cut it!!!! Tried the Nail Lounge & Beauty Bar for the first time this week. Upon review of their website, I knew going in that the pricing would be a little steeper than what I was used to paying for a shellac manicure and a general polish pedicure. But because their website made it appear that this would be a more luxurious experience than what I was used to, I was willing to pay a little more. I am happy with the end result and the staff were very polite, however I personally don't think that the services I received were worth $90+. My esthetician skipped scrubbing my feet during the pedicure due to being ticklish (not their fault at all, of course!), but also skipped the hot stone treatment. I just didn't think that this Nail Lounge did much to separate itself from others, and kind of wished I had of gone to Walmart where they do just as good a job for quite a lot less. Read Less
