Absolutely horrible. Went in at 5:30 and asked for an acrylic fill. I was told to come back in an hour. So I came back at 6:30. They started doing my nails at 7:15 only. I pretty much had 45 mins to choose my color so I did. I asked to see the shellac colours. Eventually when it was time to paint my nails, they told me the colour i chose was not shellac..... Oh, and the guy who did my nails was definitely on crack. He kept laughing for no reason and getting distracted and was very fidgety. I decided to treat myself to a manicure and go to Galaxy nails. First I asked if I could get a chrome topcoat (which I have gotten at this location before), and they refused. They said only if I got a shellac sparkle base coat.. which makes zero sense. I said I would pay the extra ten dollars which is still ridiculous but they still declined. It seemed as if this was a money grab, wanting me to pay an extra shellac fee ($15) + the chrome top coat ($10). Not wanting to pay more than my actual manicure for nail polish I declined. Only to leave with bloody fingers and a terrible manicure. I really hope their tools are sanitized properly. Read Less

It's interesting when you read reviews. I personally have been going to Galaxy Nails for over 2 years, using two locations. I have always received exemplary care. The technicians have always been polite, professional and caring. I have never had an issue with my nails, and trust me I am a very picky person when it comes to my nails. When I read that the technician did not speak to you, I tend to think that, perhaps they have not mastered the English language and feel a little embarrassed speaking English. If you have a problem, speak up immediately. If you encounter a situation a few days later, go back and they will take care of you. I've been to this salon many times and have only ever had one good experience. All the staff I've encountered apart from one tech Sam have been very rude and done terrible jobs. The older technician kept filing too close to my skin which obviously caused pain and whenever I would tense my hand or flinch she said I was making her job very difficult. Those were the only words spoken to me the entire time she was doing my nails. The end result was terrible and I was also overcharged. I went for a pedicure one morning and they weren't able to get warm water so I had to sit with me feet in ice cold water for the duration of my visit. I kept returning because it was close and convient in that aspect but I will not ever be returning to galaxy again. After having had great service at the Bryne Drive location we decided to try this one as it was closer to home. I was treating my Mom and sisters and made the appointments a couple weeks ago. When we got there they clearly weren't ready. They didn't start one of our pedicures until nearly an hour after our appointment time. Meanwhile one of the ladies was quiteloud and rude to another client who showed up late for her appointment but they wouldn't have been able to help her if she'd been on time! None of our toes looked great. One of my sisters ended up with two nails only half painted. I left the smallest tip of my life. Will definitely be heading back to Bryne Drive. Read Less

Horrible!!! Went to get a pedicure on Friday for my sons baptism. Soon as I got home, my big toe got all red and swollen. By the time Sunday came, my nail was black and couldn't even walk properly for my sons day!! Never again. Stay away from this place. Tools probably weren't clean. Got a doctors note and on antibiotics. Going to be contacting the better business bureau. 3 months later.... Thought I'd return with an update. Finally after months of a sore hideous looking toe, my nail finally fell off and is starting to grow back. I'm still so terrified of getting a pedi ever again!!! Read Less

This is absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to!!! I was there last week to have a pedicure and full set done.. As mentioned in other reviews, the staff is so rude.. it's disgusting!! I came for my full set first.. had an older lady who didn't speak to me not once during the time she did my nails... then I told her I was going to go breastfeed my daughter, and i would be back in an hour to do my pedicure.. she agreed! Then I asked her if she would be doing my pedicure when I returned, she said yes.. so I gave her a $5 tip when I came back.. the place was very busy, and the gentleman that sits at the front started doing my pedicure. So first thing, I gave her that tip because I thought she would be doing my pedicure.. not to mention that she didn't deserve the tip to begin with.. Second.. she pockets my money, and then doesn't even do my pedicure because she had another client.. So they either over booked, or because she already got her tip from me, she didn't need to do my pedicure now.. ALSO, the gentleman who was assigned to do my pedicure seemed as though he didn't have a clue.. It took an hour and a half for my full set, which I've never ever sat for that long for a full set.. And then 20 minutes for my pedicure. There was no massaging for the pedicure.. and he didn't even scrap my feet.. I had to go for another pedicure else where the next day.. as mine wasn't done properly at Galaxy.. I basically paid them $100 to be rude to me, and paint my nails.. that's it!! Also, the young tall woman who seemed as though she owned the place, was probably the rudest of them all!! WORST NAIL SALON EVER!!! EVER!!! EVER!!!
