I had the worst experience at this salon. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. While the technician was doing my pedicure I noticed there was some blood on the emery board. I immediately asked her to stop and I asked her if that was a new emery board. She said it was...but I asked her to please get a new one anyways. That's when she said "you're crazy" we always throw them out after each use. I asked her to finish my pedicure and forget the manicure. I was skeptical so I went to the Yorksafe website and searched this salon. This salon has a huge list of infractions.....I copied and pasted from the Yorksafe website. I came into this salon after another salon made a mess of my nails. It was a Friday evening around 530 pm. I went into the salon and there was 1 girl working. She said she was by herself today. So basically if you don't come into this salon at the perfect time....you're not getting your nails done. I don't know how this salon survives with 1 attendant! I just left. Read Less

Great experience all around. Be sure to ask for Cindy. She is from a place I went to for years before and I trust her for quality and to use sanitized tools. There are pictures showing it beside Hero Burgers but it’s in the new plaza near Chocolats Favoris at the south east corner of Bayview and St John Sdrd. Can’t vouch for any other staff there. Parking lot is small and at busy times, there are no spots and you have to park at Superstore. Read Less

I would give one star but the staff was really nice. Unfortunately both times I've gone were the worst manicures I've ever had. I hoped the first time was just a fluke and tried to give them another chance but the second time was equally bad. My nails were uneven and the polish looked like it had been done in the dark. Really disappointing. Read Less

Worst time ever to have my gel refill! My nails look awful, the nail polish is outside the borders of the nail. I had to file the the sides of the nail to make them fit my nail once I got home! In addition, they are more expensive than other salons. Will never go back or recommend. If I gave 1 star, that’s because the place is clean. Read Less

Went in to get my acrylic nails removed (which only takes 20 minutes at my other place)... the woman who served me clearly had to idea what she was doing because she kept switching tools and sticking my hands in nail polish remover which now left me with dry skin... after 45 minutes another lady who was a bit better took over while the other girl just laughed like she hadn't wasted almost an hour of my time. I've done this before at other salons, their method of removing nails is time wasting and painful. I now have dry, sore and bruised nails. Don't go there. Read Less

She filed them down to the middle of my nail bed (which I didn't notice til later) and had to put glue to keep them from splitting in the middle and really hurting me. This was my first time visiting a nail salon in my area and I’m very impressed by the interior. The staff there were very nice and sweet to me. The atmosphere in the store was soothing and the staff made me feel very relaxed. Since I’m not the type to know much about pedicures, I let the lady in charge of my nails recommend something for me and I’m satisfied with my results. I have been coming here for several years. LOVE it! Katelyn and Lilly (manager) are wonderful. I always use Katelyn and my friend always uses Lilly. Katelyn is fun kind and speaks English very well. She was a teacher in China and in Canada is an ECE. I see a comment about a client who said the manage spoke Chinese but I know the manage well and she speaks Vietnamese so she wouldn't even be able to speak that dialect - must have been a different salon. Or could have been a different manager who was fired. But she also didn't speak Mandarin.. Anyways HIGHLY recommend this salon ☺️✅ Read Less

I've been coming to this salon for several years. Clientele is very loyal here because they stick with a great salon when they find it. The salon is kept clean which is essential and staff are well trained and creative. You can even trust them to pick your colour and they'll find something on-trend. Prices are very reasonable. The Manager and staff are all long term people and very hard workers. Overall I find this salon exceptional. Read Less

If I could rate with a negative it would be -5. I normally have bio seaweed gel. My salon and tech was not available and I needed something done asap. I called and asked if they have the particular product and was reassured they did. Once there she prepped the nails and when she started to apply the product it was not the bio seaweed container. When questioned she said it is in different package. As she continued I could see the application was not even close to what I normally have. Then comes out the Shellac color polish. I let her finish at this point because she would not speak to me or listen to anything I had to say. When I said I was unhappy with the result (which they looked REALLY bad) I was not going to pay the amount of the full service but would pay for the product she yelled "I don't want your money....get out and go see doctor. you crazy!!!!!!!! This has to be the worst nail salon I've ever been too. The owner/manager has NO customer service skills. I booked a appointment for my mother, daughter and myself on Saturday April, 30 for 3pm. I arrived at about 2:45 for our appointment. I assumed that when I booked a appointment for 3 that they would schedule us all at the same time. However; this was not the case. Instead the manager started with my daughter and when I asked her when my mother and I would get started she said she would do all 3 of us because the other girls were all "booked". I did not book a appointment to wait 3 hours to have nail services done for my family.After my daughter was done we decided not to wait any longer. The Manager began to berate me in front of other customers about not keeping appointments. I told her I didn't make a appointment for 3 people only to have her do us 1 at a time and wait 3 hours. Finally, when it was time to pay...she charges us $42. I said that her signed on the front clearly states that a mani/pedi combo was $35. She said my daughter chose the more "expensive" polish.
