Have been going here for about a year - will not be going back again! Despite booking an appointment - always have at least a 20 minute wait - today it was 30 minutes!! I arrive on time and do not expect to waste a half hour on my weekend sitting and waiting. Owners Danny and Amy do not seem to care that they make customers wait either. I wish I could say something positive but honestly I don’t think the people here entirely like their job - the girl who did my pedicure was good but nothing excellent - her skill in customer service and satisfaction needs work though. I brought my mother here for her birthday as a last minute girl's nail day. We did not have an appointment but asked the man at the desk if he could accommodate 2 manicures. He said they were busy and the wait would be at least a half hour. We said we would wait, acknowledging that because we didn't call in advance. A full hour later we were still waiting. When we asked when we would have our turn, we were told that it wasn't "their problem" that we chose to wait and were treated very rudely. If they couldn't accommodate us, they should have just said so and not wasted our time. These people need a lesson in manners and in customer service. Transparency is a must! Read Less

Never have to wait, great nails, good service. One time I had a so-so job on my nails, I've just been sure to request someone else. For anyone complaining about having to wait, like most things, there are off times and busy times. (Traffic, restaurants, stores etc) if you don't want to wait, go at a different time! Read Less

I've been looking for a place to try something more permanent than shellac. I did some research but when i saw the Nail Salon and spa, I just decided to walk in. The guy at the front answered my questions and was patient with me (I'm a little indecisive). Based on what I'd researched and that it looked so natural when he showed me, I went for the Bio gels. I have tryed a few times, Shame on me, I have tryed s few times to get a new set of nails and s pedicure which cost me over a $100.00. If I was satisfied this would not be such a problem but now tomorrow I have to find someone to FIx my nails ...more money. HORRIBLE. I read reviews on Yelp and thought I could give this place a shot - BAD MISTAKE. I had an appointment with Phanny and she did not take good care of my nails at all. She was SO rough when filing and shaping my nails that at one point my nail bent back. It hurt like a b****! I was getting my shellac removed, and a new colour reapplied. HOW HARD CAN THIS BE?!?!?! After several trips to The Nail Salon & Spa, I can finally rave about this place. The customer service and the technical skills are top notch. I particularly like the fact that clients with appointment are recognized and  taken seriously. I can honestly say that this place has renewed my faith in Nail salons.  In Ajax we have more Salons than groceries stores and unlike the others, this salon takes care of each customer, one at a time and provides quality work for the money. The pedicures are not those five minutes  "Slang bang thank you"  pedicures that you get at the other salons where they are only interested in making your toes looks pretty.Danny, the man at the front desk (very professional) is a "boss" - he does the best nails in Ajax. The pictures speak for its self. This nail salon is the best in the GTA. I've been going there for years and they've always had my nails ON point! Every time I leave i leave with a smile & beautiful nails. They do it all, chrome, glitter, jewels, they keep up with all the latest trends. I previously had a bad experience with gel nails somewhere else. I went to the nail salon and spa so they could help me fix my ruined nails. They definitely out did themselves. They were friendly professional and so willing to help. I left with beautifully treated nails without any pain unlike where I went before. When I moved to Ajax, this was the first nail salon I started going to. I went a couple of times and my nails looked great, but a friend of mine who already lived in Ajax told me about a cheaper salon so I started getting my nails done there. However, I still chose to go to this salon for other services excluding nails. I have found that on every occasion I've been there for other services, the man at the front desk who I am assuming is the owner or manager has been extremely rude. There have been plenty of times where I would call ahead to ask if there was someone available for a certain service and he would tell me yes and once I showed up he'd have me waiting for an hour and say the person is busy and to come back! If I don't call ahead and walk-in asking for a service other than nails, his demeanour changes and he becomes very short with me. I think the other services I get are great and the people that do them are amazing, but this bully at the front desk completely ruins the experience. As a paying customer, he should learn to treat everyone the same and practice good customer service! I'm debating if I even want to continue going there!!!!!!! There are too many nail salons in Ajax to have to deal with such bullshit all the time. Read Less
