absolutely horrid experience at queens nails, i went there because i heard decent(not perfect) reviews, i went there because it was less expensive. however the lady, i forget her name was extremely rude, there salon is EXTREMELY filthy, the back room where they get u to wash your hands hasnt been cleaned in years it looks like their white countertop was BROWN with filth, ontop of that, i asked for coffin shape or ballerina shaped nails, she gave me squared or squared oval nails, and if that wasnt bad enough the gel she used for my nails sucked, my nails have lumps all over them, when she put on the nail polish she kept nicking the edges of my nails and had the nerv to blame it on me, when i asked her to fix what i watched her do, she got even ruder and refused to fix my nails, she also applied the tips wrong, on my pointer finger u can still see my real nail on both of the sides of the nail tip. and after all of this , 4 days later all my nails have begun to lift ! i am far from a picky person , i have been to bad nail salons before and never wrote a review, but this was absolutely unacceptable Read Less

Lisa is very friendly, quick, and most importantly GENTLE.  She does acrylic much better than the fast paced mall shops. No frills/hand massage/whatever but I didnt feel rushed or pressured like those other places. My nails were evenly filed and not too thick. I give her 5 stars personally just for the warm and efficient customer service.I personally prefer gel nails, but my only options were booked up or too far away. I was pressed for time and I saw that Queen Nails was close to me so I wandered into the dated little shop and was seen immediately. The shop has very 80s posters and decals on the windows with old fashioned massage - pedicure chairs and a TV for watching the news. It's pretty typical looking for an old school nail shop.I had the the gel tips service (only 35$!)which was actually acrylic with a gel polish on top (be aware that real builder gel is a different product which is like goop in a jar cured under UV light. no powder involved). But I had a feeling that would be the case. If you don't need a fancy spa atmosphere and want acrylic nails, Queen nails is in a convenient location, has great customer service and low prices. It's a good value option and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in a hurry. Read Less

Took my two kids to this salon to get our nails painted. The kids were thrilled and the owner was very accommodating of us. It's not fancy but just as clean as any mall/drop in nail salon. In fact I noticed her tools were all in Barbasol and she had an electric sterilizer working.  She was fast, friendly and inexpensive. We had planned to go to Lee's but there was a line-up and no one even acknowledged us when we went in. So we went to Queen Nail, and did not regret it one bit. Next time, we'll try pedicures.
